Hey guys! Today is my birthday 🎉 To celebrate, I decided to drop a little before/after comparison from one of the projects I worked on. This was a small animated sequence for a feature-length film and the main challenge was achieving very realistic, hand-drawn textures in every single frame. I think it turned out pretty great, literally every frame here is unique and made purely by human hands. No shortcuts, just love, patience and a lot of pixels🤙🏻✨

We all smoke our way, for now I have mastered the art of the glass tip cone style. It’s not a specialty roll by any means, but it’s consistent for me. I don’t have the fine hand coordination nor the patience to fuck up a hand roll when I can do this pretty easily and it smokes as proper as a good hand roll. When I have more time away from serving, I’ll practice hand rolling but this is how I smoke.

this is the guide I wish someone had handed me on day one of CS. it builds up, from a single transistor, why your computer spends most of its life just waiting for memory instead of doing math. barely a calculator at all. understanding this one idea rewired how I read every program I write, and I tried hard to make it click for you too. if you've never really understood the memory wall, you're missing one of the biggest "aha" moments in computer science. it took me 20+ days of deep research and a lot of work to make it as simple as possible, and honestly there's still a long way to go. every piece of feedback would mean the world to me 🙏 here's mine article:

My last album was a journal entry that changed my life, me letting the world know who I was as a person and everything I was experiencing at the time. This time, I wanted to show y’all the other parts of me. The artist. The storyteller. This is my entry for the The Beaks art contest. About 6 days ago, I did a redraw of one of Dima Kashtalyan’s artworks, but for this contest, I wanted to create something inspired by the original while adding my own style and creativity to it. This piece took me over 3 hours to sketch and paint. Medium used: pen and acrylic paint, with blisters added for the shiny effect, all done in my sketchbook. Kindly repost and support, thank you!

This is a question I think quite a lot of people are wondering about. Right now, I’m hiring students to handle the newer phones, post content, and create content every day. For the TikTok accounts that are already trusted, have been running for a long time, and have a high follower count, I automate them using my own internal tools. Currently, I only handle the first steps myself: buying new phones → warming them up → making the first posts. After that, I hand the phones over to the students I hire to continue creating and posting content. Then, once I feel the accounts are strong enough, I move them into automation. And right now, I’m traveling with my family in Da Nang. This time I’m here with my family and want to spend all my time with them, so I won’t be meeting anyone while I’m here. 🏝️ I always aim to build everything in an automated way, or avoid doing things I don’t enjoy by hiring people to handle them for me.😌

Trans thoughts : 🏳️‍⚧️ Between the 2nd to 4th month into my HRT transition, I begun becoming more social. Which was odd given the fact that I have been isolating myself for years and call it under the pretext of : "I'm too shy or I'm extremely introverted" However, now... the moment I talk to someone and connect with them IRL, we are instantly sharing numbers so we can keep in touch. I'M THE ONE ASKING FOR IT BTW I'm not sure what has gotten onto me, but I think the ability to feel myself more the authentic me, having my best friend, coach and parents accept me openly for being trans, going outside and getting treated like a lady plus my whole online community being the loving goobers that you are... It has started to change me. For the better. 🥰 Before, I dreaded the thought of going outside. Now, given that I'm not busy, I want to be outside as much as possible Anyways, I am really happy so here something cool I do on my free times :

A loop of AI agents built me a gun. It just can't make it shoot. Day 11 of building GTA 6 with a loop of agents. Yesterday I said today they'd learn to steal cars and shoot. Today's progress: - 2 weapons in - Pickup system works (we can grab weapons now) The downside: you pull the trigger, nothing happens. The loop is incredible at the overall, but shooting is the main part of the game, so I think we wire this one up ourselves. So here is the progress I'm taking shooting and sitting down to learn the physics myself with agent as support. At the same time J A Z I I takes driving by hand. The agents keep doing what they're good at. They're building out the police system and the economy right now, while I type this. Also spent the weekend in SF at a Tripo3D Donut event learning 3D art.

I'm using GPT Image 2 to create a video concept for a weapon selection screen for CHILD OF THE SOIL. When I initially made the short film I always envisioned this as an open world hack and slash video game inspired by my own continent of Africa. As an avid gamer I wanted to just quickly envision different weapons Nyoni can use as she traverses the world. Of course there is no video game here, it's just a rough idea presented purely as a video. The video sequence is just cycling through 4 different images and I used Seedance 2.0 omni to generate the video. I added music in post. Prompt: A static shot shows a video game menu screen. During the sequence it selects different weapons. It selects all 4 different weapon types. Ensure the item in her hand changes to show the selected item. Every time a weapon is selected she poses and analyzes it. The wooden animal next to her is looking around. Do not change any text. No music, only sound fx when the weapons change. No dialogue.

I began my art journey in 2002 as a mature student, applying to Leith School of Art for their portfolio preparation year and then to Edinburgh College of Art for the 5 year MA Fine Art program. I was 38 years old at my graduation. My classmates called me 'Grandpa Jones', seriously. 😂 I spent the next 7 years working 3 or 4 jobs/100+ hours a week (waitering, art tutoring, charity director, Airbnb host) so I could pay for my very expensive painting habit and paint enough for an annual solo exhibition (that I had to organise and pay for myself for most of them as no commercial galleries were interested in QR code/AR tech infused paintings)... and every year but one I lost money. I was my accountants biggest loser over and over and over. 😅 So, from 32 to nearly 50 years old with my art career being a horrendous detriment to my financial future I questioned my life decisions... daily. But I never gave up. In fact, it was the opposite. With every rejection letter, with every let down and disappointment, with every financial loss, with every exhibition that didn't sell enough to even cover the costs of paint, canvas and framing, I pushed even harder. I worked even harder. I looked for new ways to differentiate myself from all the other artists around me and I invested everything I had into me and my future. Fortune favours the brave. If you're willing to put in the time, the work and the risk you will be rewarded. It may take 5 years, 10 years, 20 years or more but eventually, if you keep working and taking the risks that the rest are not willing to take (creatively and financially) you will succeed. Don't blame others for your failure. Take the knock backs, take the disappointments, take the rejections, and use them to drive you. If you are willing and able to commit 100% for however long it takes, you will succeed. This is a fact and I'm proof of that. Stop listening to the FUD, stop listening to those who don't believe in you. Show them how wrong they are. Again, it may take years, even decades, but fortune favours the bold and this is undeniable. Will you give up or will you keep pushing, learning, growing, expanding your ideas and your creative output? I began my art journey in 2002 as a mature student, applying to Leith School of Art for their portfolio preparation year and then to Edinburgh College of Art for the 5 year MA Fine Art program. I was 38 years old at my graduation. My classmates called me 'Grandpa Jones', seriously. 😂 I spent the next 7 years working 3 or 4 jobs/100+ hours a week (waitering, art tutoring, charity director, Airbnb host) so I could pay for my very expensive painting habit and paint enough for an annual solo exhibition (that I had to organise and pay for myself for most of them as no commercial galleries were interested in QR code/AR tech infused paintings)... and every year but one I lost money. I was my accountants biggest loser over and over and over. 😅 So, from 32 to nearly 50 years old with my art career being a horrendous detriment to my financial future I questioned my life decisions... daily. But I never gave up. In fact, it was the opposite.
