In his media session tonight, Drake Stoops categorically rejected any notion that the #Sooners don't have much left to play for in 2023, despite being out of the CFP race. "I come in here day in and day out, 10 hours in here every day. And for me, there's a lot left to play for. I bust my tail year-round for this, for six years now. So I'm not really listening to what people say... I don't care if we're 0-8 right now. I'm playing ball because I love to play football, I love my teammates, I love my coaches, I love the University of Oklahoma. It's really that simple. I got a lot of pride for this place."

David Grusch says there are a lot of attention seeking charlatans in the UFO space selling books and right now he’s focused on the disclosure fight and would like to return to normal life “This subject brings out a lot of charlatans, a lot of people who want attention, a lot of people who want to generate certain narratives. I'm just here to do a job and to get this information out to the American public. I would love to go back to my normal life. I live in Colorado and I rather just ATV and hike with my dogs and not have to deal with this on the public stage. I never wanted to be a public personality. I have no book deal unlike other people in this space. I'll write a book. I promise I'll write a book after this is all over. We're in the middle of a battle right now, I'm in the fight.”

I am Andrea Ballarati, one of the organizers of @remsummit , I was the first to bring Remigration in Italy and managed to make it popular through activism and political networking. This cost me an investigation for "hatespeech" and now I will go to trial for it. As in the rest of Europe, the judiciary power in Italy is politicized, and lawfare is used to silence opposition. I continue to share my progress in my recovery after this massive stroke and the coma and pneumonia that kept me in the hospital for over three months in the beginning of the year I hope that by sharing my experience strength and hope, I can help others who’ve been through something similar. That you are not alone!!! I admit it is an absolute miracle that I am here with you. So I am smiling and willing to do whatever it takes to improve my health. And As in every day I have to thank you for the prayers and support that helped carry me through and this far.

Once I finish either my first term or my second term, I will no longer be in politics. The day I finish this I plan on going to live in a ranch by myself, with my dogs, and devote myself to writing and giving lectures. Actually, since I live right now in this 69-acre presidential place and there is this shed where they kept the tools, I've renovated it and I've gone to live there. I've already discovered what gives me happiness in life, and I act according to it. Generally some people want power out of greed, out of last, or out of ego. Well, fortunately I have no problems on greed, nor lust; and my approach to Judaism, and my admiration for Moses, keeps my ego in check all the time. So, I take this as a job. I've come here only for the glory. I'm interested in making history. I shall write the pages of history that the Argentine people allow me to, and then I'll change jobs. I find that I'm grateful for my story being out and for people to be heard because I stood up to these Tyrants and whatnot— and I don't think a lot of people do that. I guess I'm raising my voice that way I can speak for people who don't want to raise theirs."

Would central planning work in a fully automated economy? There's 3 main reasons to think it might: 1. The central planner can just directly learn from the experience of other AIs (think of a much more advanced version of Tesla FSD model learning from millions of driving samples). 2. The central planner can have way more intelligence/compute than everyone else. Xi Jinping has the same 10^15 FLOPs as everyone else. Not necessarily so for the mega-inference scaled bureaucrat. 3. In order to align incentives for humans, we have to use markets. But we can much more easily control the preferences of AIs. But there's a big reason to think that central planning would still fail: The whole economy is getting more complicated and intelligent, not just the planner at the center of it. Apple as it exists today might be able to centrally direct the economy of Babylon. But it can't plan the world economy of 2025. Full episode with Ege Erdil and Tamay Besiroglu out now!
