I totally agree with your sentiment and want to clarify one of your points. It's important that we internalize that we have no interest and enjoy no advantage in keeping bloodthirsty murderers "caged" next door or inside my country. As you can now see, imagining that we are keeping our killers in "cages" is not effective. Many of us have been screaming that message for a very long time, and we've been sidelined and villainized as extremists for it. Obviously erroneously. Israel should be a country that lives in safety, security and prosperity, not eternally "managing" our own executioners inside and outside our country. If we want to stop cowering, explaining and microapologizing for deserving to live, we abandon the killer caging business and invest in the killer ELIMINATING business. If we want our children to live. Period.
