I don't know as much football as you but I think a minimum expectation is not to get mollywhopped by Tulsa. And it's a game until you start asking your donors to fund millions in salaries and I know they expect a lot more. Pokes could have used your offense today.

We paid Drew Mestemaker $7.5 million to come here to play. I expect him to beat Tulsa. A team who was in the same conference he just left. Mind you, the loss wasn’t totally on his shoulders, but he is definitely the biggest target. Along with Coach Morris.

I could never grasp the idea that you take essentially a division 2 team and put them in a power 5 conference and magically they all become power 5 players.

You can’t take all north Texas players 17 to Oklahoma State and expect them to be good . Maybe 1 or 2 players not 17 . Writing was on the wall . North Texas could beat up on teams with bad records last year.

Comparing our performance to either K-State or Iowa State is also discouraging. The Wildcats won huge with a new HC straight from the coordinator ranks. Then consider the only other B12 Wk 1 losses were to Auburn and N Carolina, both by single digits. We're clearly at the bottom!

Hahaha hahaha. North Texas was so much better today with Tayven Jackson amd Raheim White. Mestemaker went from a potential first round pick to NIL bust and it only took 1 game. He and Morris choke in big games. Got exactly what they deserved today.
