I’m for most things #aviation… I’m looking to explore more things too… maybe even some gyrocopter or helicopter stuff. BUT …this may be a step too far for me. Would you give it a go ? #avgeek #flying #pilotlife

Be careful. It’s all backwards. Push to climb, pull to descend, left foot to turn right, right foot to turn left. Ok if you’ve never flown a conventional aircraft, dangerous if you have.

I’d never noticed that until you mentioned it. That’d be counterintuitive for a mere mortal like myself. Only one outcome.

A pilot friend and I were going to get a gyrocopter. Until we researched the fatalities and accidents. Fixed wing transport category airplanes are the safest bet. Get a 737.

Well, yes Scott. I have a microlight, in fact the same type as in the clip. If you want I’ll take you up. Apparently ex Loadmasters make good pilots 😉

I remember you mentioning it. Does yours have an oven for those sausage rolls we’d need? 😜

I did, but on skies off of a mountain in St Moritz. It was glorious. My wolf-Malmute hybrid, Duke chased me down the mountain, all the way to the lake some 3,000 feet below. Give it a go!

Did it once in Montana. Was a two seater so the pilot was behind. But it got scary when we hit some rising hot air currents.

Having been a hang glider back in the 80s I’d def give that a go.

Reminds me of ultralights. I would pass.

This guy sometimes shows up at air shows in Switzerland with his microlight and his geese. You could try that out 😉
