The bill entitles any citizen of Abia State who is 60 years old and above, access to free monthly salary, free medicals, and other benefits till death. This is highly commendable. A woman has publicly cried out for help, calling on Abia State Governor Alex Otti, alleging that a 50-year-old man in Ohokobe Mbaocha, Ndume Ibeku, Umuahia, d€f!l£d her 9-year-old granddaughter. She claimed the suspect is now thre@t£ning to k!l| her and the child, and also alleged that he boasted of being well connected, saying he knows the Attorney General and the governor. I struggle to believe that Governor Alex Otti would roll out such a harsh, undemocratic policy. N200m campaign fee for presidential candidates, N150m for governorship, N100m for senators? These can’t be said to be fees. The government is brazenly extorting money from politicians and encouraging corruption. It is so sad to see this coming from Abia State. Alex Otti should be different. Now, he leaves me with mixed feelings about his second tenure!✍️
