There was literally a way to fix things and cut out & replace things like giving Charlie & Vaggie a song to show they are a couple and have Niffty given her own song because she deserved one, not Carmilla. This is literally so easy, I don't even need to think much or at all.

I'm afraid I have to disagree with the last point about Adam's hologram being able to touch Charlie, it still creates the holographic effect when he does grab her. Other shows have had holograms have that effect, like Star Trek Voyager.
