Currently 88,184 Black voters out of 942,000 have gone to early vote. I’m making this video earlier than before hoping you’ll help me amplify this like. We have several days and can collectively challenge our people to get out and go vote, and go do it early. Straight up, unless they got a sticker assume they lied. Currently 9 out of every 10 Black people have yet to vote. This is how we end up with less resources because we aren’t doing our part on the front side. The Democratic Party is failing Louisiana another year. I’m going to say it again, we aren’t a red state, we are an underfunded state and it shows in voter turnout. It increases when the investment increases. I cast my vote. I’m do your part and also text this to 10 people and get them locked in. Rosenberg: What’s really important, Ben, and we talked a lot about this in 2022, is that everyone watching today needs to realize it’s very important to vote early. Vote as early as you can. When you vote early, you come off the GOTV rolls for the campaign. They know each night who’s voted—not how you voted, but that you voted. When you come off the GOTV roles, it allows the campaign to focus on lower propensity voters quicker. If they can reach lower propensity voters sooner, it’s more likely they’ll vote for us. So, by voting early, you can actually increase Democratic turnout and make it more likely we win. If you have a choice between voting on Election Day or near Election Day, and voting right now, vote now. It’s more important to vote now and try to run up the score in October, as we did in 2022, and win this election in early voting rather than waiting until Election Day.

Thoughts for people living in safe blue cities and states: Alabama is the birthplace of the Civil Rights Movement. People bled and died for our right to vote. Years ago, my son said to me, “Democrats have to give people a reason to vote.” I told him something I still believe right now: We must NEVER sit out an election because Republicans are counting on us to. We make the best choice for our survival. And it’s not lost on me that in my entire life, I’ve never had to wonder if my vote would count, if polling places would be shut down, or if there would be roadblocks waiting on the way there. Central City News is a Republican ran news paper in Baton Rouge and they are saying the quiet part out loud. They believe they can elect a white Republican as mayor because the Black voter turnout is so low. They are looking at the same data I shared last week. I’ve been telling you the numbers because the power is there for us to make the difference. I believe you seeing this is important. It shows you the thinking of people who are voting Republican in this community think about you not voting. They see it as an opportunity. If voting didn’t matter, why are they breaking records to show up? The person in the mayors office determines what policing in your city looks like, they determine the budget priorities of the city, they set the agenda for where things are going. Everything we don’t have, is because we aren’t engaging at the numbers we need to. You can’t change a city, with only 30% of the majority population showing up to vote. Baton Rouge can be so much better, we have to show up for better to happen. Take the 5 minutes to listen and then take 10 more to text your people and encourage them to go vote tomorrow. We can prove them wrong. Louisiana is not a red state, it’s an under funded, low voter participation state. Show up for yourself tomorrow, that’s how we make people pay attention and invest so we can see the change we desire. Share, tag, and engage your people. And go vote!

“They cannot believe this result, say that the only way that this could be true is if it was fraud and cheating.” Actually no, it’s not that “the only way Spencer Pratt could lose is if there was fraud and cheating.” At least not for me and for most people I’ve spoken to or seen speaking. And I understand that had he advanced to the general, Pratt would’ve had an uphill battle and a hell of a long shot in front of him. The issue isn’t “it must be fraud;” the issue is that in California and these progressive-run states and cities, we’ve built an electoral system that begs the public to mistrust it—not because we lose but because it’s not as secure as it could be; it is objectively left open to vulnerabilities, and we can only assume this is purposeful and willful. An election that requires no photo ID to prove you are who you say you are is open to fraud. A bad actor needs only your name and address, and they could cast a vote in person in your stead, and you wouldn’t know until your vote got rejected and you had to cast a provisional ballot. There’s no security against that. Again, if a person knows your name and address, they can vote for you. No other info is given at the vote center. And since Covid, we mass mail out ballots to every single voter—even to people who don’t want them. I see ballots everywhere, discarded on apartment complex mailboxes because they belong to someone who no longer lives there. I’ve received ballots that aren’t mine. I’ve had my ballot sent to an address that’s not mine. And I can’t request to not have a ballot sent to me. It’s forced on me—even if I vote in person. And universal mail-in ballots present another very easy way a person could vote on your behalf—and again, you wouldn’t know until you tried to vote, got rejected, and had to fill out a provisional ballot. Yes, your ballot showing up at your door is super convenient; it also opens the door to fraud. And a mere 7 years ago, we didn’t do it like this, and still people who wanted or needed to vote by mail could do it; they just had to request it. And under that system, nobody screamed “voter suppression” or “disenfranchisement,” but now we do—not because it’s actually voter suppression but because we’ve gotten used to the convenience. And why are we allowing for ballot harvesting? Why should it be legal for you to collect ballots en masse from people you don’t know and aren’t related to? Again, that opens the door to fraud, tampering, and undue influence. And why do we accept mail-in ballots that arrive seven days post election? California gives you so many avenues and so much time (a full month) to return your ballot that you should be able to get your ballot to its final destination by election night—not just in the mail but to its final destination. This is called…being an adult and mailing things on time. Not voter suppression. It’s not a matter of opinion that all of the above opens our elections to more fraud and general mistrust; it’s a matter of fact. We’re trading security for convenience. That trade-off might be worth it to Democrats, but it shouldn’t be, and it’s not worth it to all of us. A country cannot stand if nearly half or half or more than half of the populace doesn’t trust the election process. That’s not a Republican issue or a MAGA issue; that’s a United States of America issue. So no, it’s not about “my guy wins or it’s fraud.” It’s about objectively we’re leaving our elections vulnerable to fraudulent activity. We’re the greatest nation in the world, and yet other countries have more secure (and also quicker) electoral processes. That’s unacceptable. None of the above would put undue burden on a voter—and yet all of it would help secure the voter and fortify against fraud.

One-party rule in MA is the status quo. You either believe we need generational change and that the status quo is broken (as you said) or you don’t. Every argument you made for the last year about needing change and taking on the establishment applies even more so regarding me. Black voter turnout in Louisiana is down 26% as of this morning. In 2020, over 290,000 Black voters showed up to vote early. We are currently averaging 20,000 a day. Which means we need 78,000 Black people to vote early today to change this. The local news isn’t talking about it because they don’t want Back voters in Louisiana to go vote. The party in the state is too busy showcasing the elected officials. The elected officials are doing whatever they do, and the voters are at home, the game, the club, the festival, the second line. The people are at all the things, but the polls. Text 10 people and tell them, I know 8 in here didn’t go vote. I need that I voted sticker picture in the group chat by 6:30p. Even if you text yesterday, do it again. Be that annoying person because our tax dollars funding this government. We get a say in who leads it, when we don’t participate that’s why we don’t get funded. I’m doing my part, will you do yours? Share and let’s run em up.
