You think too much bro. Day 1 traffic always gonna be low. Takes months or years for seo to kick in which is probably what you want unless you want to be promoting it on Twitter constantly. Should just do it anyway. What's the worst case?

Also, new attracted audience must not be from the within community if possible. Product Hunt still drives traffic to me, even after the year of the launch. Respect for brutal honesty. Get well soon!

"Any kind products launchpad" model seems to be overrated Launchpad should be not just a list of products, but a community where people love to be Like @devhunt_, or probably even narrower

I think it’s safe to say that we all bought you, your reach, your authority and your distribution and marketing power. So having said this. Do things that don’t scale. One launch a week or a day. And boost them. Tell their story, make a demo of their product. Roast, make a meme give a whole package. If that works. Get other creators like you on board. And scale to more intros. You can have an army of creators helping launching products within their own niches. I would pay for this. If done properly.

Thanks man, took a screenshot of your tweet for reference. that’s exactly The type of thing I’m moving toward

Cloning PH is a waste of time. It’s like cloning YouTube. You can replicate every feature, but you won’t attract bloggers to your platform—they’re already on YouTube making money. Don’t forget that PH is a marketplace. Only with a completely different approach (or a lot of money) can you compete with PH and steal its traffic. Feel better soon!

😵

I’m sorry brother 😶

Is Product Hunt dying? Besides people getting mad about it on X, is it actually getting less traffic?

Nico did good research on this
