I'm with you 100% Topher. It plain dumb not to roll out the welcome mat for defectors. It encourages others to do so. If however we are resentful of defectors and bring up their past sins, then those considering a defection wont bother. Also agree Zuckerberg's defection seems sincere. In the film Social Media (the story of how Facebook started) Zuckerberg says in the first scene that his favourite president was Roosevelt. A girl asks him, 'which one?' ... and he replies Teddy. Now Teddy wasn't great but he was a Republican and he wasn't FDR. That tells me he was probably brought up a Republican. On top of that, people get wiser as they get older and so overwhelmingly become more right-wing. I think that is happening to Zuckerberg. Critics of your post cannot see any trees around because the forest is in the way. Imagine having not only Musk but also Zuckerberg being allies in restoring rationality.

Listening to him speak about the Covid censorship I think he's been genuinely red-pilled by having the three-letter-agencies come after him 'coincidentally' for 'unrelated investigations'. He knows what was really going on. I think he's becoming a Libertarian, and he's said as much in the past. Like all 'new' libertarians we need to be careful, there's decades of non-libertarian instincts within him which he could revert to at any time, but I do think the journey he claims to be on is very real and if we allow him to then he'll mature into a true libertarian in time.

When Zucks AI can see all your real life contacts, communications and plans on his apps - he makes more money and the deep state has an ability to know everything you’re doing whilst Zucks AI has a far better ability to train your AI double which allows for even more money and an ability to frame anyone it wants. Remember the Cambridge Analytica saga? That was long before cv. The "Master & Commander" requires you forgive where genuine confession and repentance occur. It is a mandatory obligation - for those "in the service".... Yep. I'm nor convinced that he has yet fully confessed or repented for his cowardice in facilitating the censorship, so I'm not even sure that we're yet obligated to forgive. But we must stand ready to forgive once the repentance can be shown to be real.
