Thune on Texas: We have to win this race. I think all of our allies out there including the president and his team and their resources need to be brought to bear on Texas because it's not one that we can lose if we are going to hang on to Republican majority, we flat have to win there.

David Benavidez weighs in on possible showdown with Jai Opetaia: "It's just going to take some time. We're going to have to have some patience for that fight because there's a lot of politics involved. The promotional companies have to realize they work for us... It's about the fighters that have worked our whole lives to get what we want to get, so we deserve these opportunities to fight each other. I don't have any interest in a [Zuffa belt], and I'm not trying to be disrespectful, but I don't have no interest at all."

For Jerusalem's sake, we will not be silent and we are not going to hold our peace. We are in a fight and we are going to win this fight. We are going to win this fight. Stand with Israel."

NTSB Member Inman: They're thinking, is it going to take longer? Am I going to be finding my loved one? How will this affect it? That's hard. I mean, it's horrible.. We have a lot of experts. We've done a thousand. But that doesn't mean it's not completely new to them. What's really horrible though is that these things are happening… From tragedy, we draw knowledge to improve the safety for us all. That's what we're doing right now. We're dealing with tragedy, but we need to improve safety. We need 200 plus recommendations fixed. We need people to take action. Unfortunately, at some point all of you are going to be gone. We're still going to have the investigation open. We're going to make recommendations. We go to East Palestine, a community that gets devastated. Still, nothing's happened. We've several hundred recommendations open for aviation. You want to do something about it, adopt the recommendation of the NTSB. You'll save lives. Get off and do something. I don't want to have to meet with another set of parents like that again. It’s not fair. It could be your family.

Sarah Palin just pushed the idea of a civil war and encouraged Trump supporters to “get angry” and “rise up to take our country back.” This rhetoric needs to end. This stuff is just going too far. We are America. We are one! Stop calling for civil war. Stop implying that we are on the brink of Civil War. We are not. Just Stop! Specifically Palin said: “Do you want us to be in a civil war? Because that’s what’s going to happen. We’re not going to keep putting up with this, and Eric, I like that you suggest that we need to get angry. We do need to rise up and take our country back. I would say the RNC thought, that’s what’s lacking when it comes to collective anger that can be health, and it can be useful… What do they want as an outcome of this? Civil War?” Why do some people seemingly want to have a Civil War in this country?

Reporter: You threatened to cut off trade with a nation running a trade deficit... Are you actually going to follow through with that? Trump: I'm going to do that with some nations. We don't want to have deficits with nations. We want to have surpluses, or at least break even.

Incredible last few minutes of the Rick Rubin / Adam Neumann interview. I got chills listening to this. --- Adam: We'll connected to this week's portion. We all have something that we're slaves to. We all have an addiction to anger, to ego, to power, whatever it is, idol worship that we have. We all have an Egypt. We all need to leave that Egypt, come out of it. When we come out of that Egypt, we all face a Red Sea. When we see that Red Sea, we all need to have the courage to walk into it so far that we drown. Only when we're willing to drown will the Red Sea be split and we'll go to our next level. We then go to our next level. We see the Red Sea split. Suddenly we're like, oh, everything is okay. And we forget. The moment we forget, we step into the desert. We all have to walk through our version of desert. That desert is between us, us, and God. No one else. The only decision we get to have is how long we're going to journey through that desert. Are we going to journey for 14 days like the children of Israel were supposed to? Or are we going to journey for 40 years because we're not learning our lesson? Our choice is not, are we going to get into the desert or not? It's how long will we be in. And once we go out of that desert, we all have our version of the promised land. And if we have the courage to look inside, see our own correction, our own limitation, look at it clearly now and say, I see you, and I'm going to get over it. I'm going to learn. I'm going to grow. I'm going to understand that life is not about falling down. It's about how I'm going to get up. I'm going to fall 1,000 times so I can get up 1,001 times. And in that last time when I get up and I'm actually ready to go to my next level, I'm going to wish for you, for me, and for everybody who are listening — please, may we have the courage to go to our next level because we know that the promised land is waiting right after it. And may we not be afraid when the whole world is saying this or that about us. Who cares? It's about what you think, what your wife thinks, what your kids think, and what the universe thinks. Rick: Amen. Adam: Amen. Thank you. Thank you, Hashem. Thank you.
