✨💗Before the World Teaches Them Otherwise There is something about the way children respond to another person in need. They don't pause to think about whether they should get involved. They don't wonder if someone else should do it. They don't stop to consider how their kindness might look to the people around them. They simply notice. And when they see that someone needs a little help, their first instinct is often to do something about it. That instinct is easy to overlook because, to a child, it feels completely normal. There is no great decision behind it. No calculation. No expectation of being thanked. Just a small act of kindness, offered because someone needed it. And perhaps that is what makes childhood so beautiful. Before the world teaches us otherwise, children trust. Before we learn to measure every relationship, children give freely. Before we become afraid of looking foolish, children simply do what feels right. An adult might walk past because they are busy. Another might notice but hesitate, wondering whether it is their responsibility. A child may not think that far. They just see a person. And perhaps that is one of the quiet lessons children give us without even knowing it: Kindness does not always need an explanation. As we grow older, life teaches us many useful things — how to protect ourselves, how to be careful, how to think before we act. But in learning all of that, we should be careful not to lose the simplest part of ourselves. The part that still notices. The part that still cares. The part that can see someone struggling and think, “Let me help.” Children are not innocent because they know nothing about the world. They are innocent because, before the world teaches them otherwise, they still believe there is nothing strange about being good to one another.

Young Nigerians are on fire! Leave everything & listen to our Gen Z speak. I’m so proud of them! Why should anyone pay over ₦600K for a substandard education in a public university? NELFUND is a Ponzi Scheme. The APC almost got away with it. They removed the subsidy in Education, & ‘public’ school fees skyrocketed! To make matters worse, you told them to borrow from you before they could go to school. How much did you pay to attend a public school? Which school did you attend? Their struggling parents can barely afford food & rent. Where do you expect them to fetch the 600K from? From the poverty you created? We have to speak for these young minds. We should never make the mistake of abandoning them. Education is a RIGHT, not a privilege! Over ₦600K in a “public” university without functional laboratories, electricity, R&D, & a conducive environment for higher learning, is no education, but punishment! You are denying our children their right to a guaranteed future. Education was under attack in eleven years. They want to keep you poor & uneducated. Asiwaju is an octogenarian. He is not part of Nigeria’s future debates. His Generation are already on their way out. We Millennials ‘may’ have failed. But the APC cannot withstand the Generation Zoomers. What kind of adults are we preparing our children to become? Strong kids don't become strong overnight. It starts with the little things they learn when they're young. Teaching them to keep their word, finish what they start, clean up after themselves, help around the house, and take responsibility for their choices gives them a foundation they can carry for the rest of their lives. A good work ethic is built the same way. Kids need to learn that not everything worth having comes easily. Sometimes you have to work when you don't feel like it. Sometimes you fail and have to try again. Sometimes nobody is going to do the job for you. That doesn't mean children shouldn't have fun or enjoy being kids. They absolutely should. But love isn't the same thing as making life easy for them. One of the best things a parent can do is give a child enough responsibility to discover that they're capable of handling it. When kids learn discipline, responsibility, and perseverance early, they gain something much more valuable than an easy childhood. They gain confidence in their ability to face life. Are we raising children who expect everything to be done for them, or children who will be ready to take responsibility for their own lives?
