Trump gave $23 billion in aid …. Trump expressed concerns about corruption and fiscal mismanagement in Puerto Rico therefore there was a delay. He was right, billions of dollars were taken by democrat leadership and they hid relief in a warehouse. Billions of dollars meant for THE PEOPLE. Kamala showed up and got laughed at.

Just to add on here… • Donald Trump delayed $20 billion of aid to Puerto Rico in violation of the Impoundment Control Act of 1974, after Hurricane Maria hit the island in September of 2017. As a result, Puerto Rico was plunged into darkness and left without access to electricity, water, oxygen or medicines for 181 days. It is estimated that this delay in aid triggered an additional 2,975 deaths after the storm. Discrimination against latinos is suspected to have had a disproportionally large influence in Trump's mismanagement of FEMA's Hurricane Maria response. • It should come as no surprise then that he is the first American president without a single Hispanic at the table in his Cabinet since Ronald Reagan.

Two years ago, I wouldn’t have been caught dead at a Trump rally. I was a liberal, I thought Trump was awful. Tonight was a beautiful moment to remember just how far I’ve come in 2 years. Yes, I’m frustrated with a lot, but I’m reminded just how INSANELY GOOD we have it. Do you remember what it used to be like? Do you remember how bad it was? I remember screaming on X for the Biden administration to help Western North Carolina for MONTHS. All I got was silence. I was mocked by Biden’s FEMA and they called me a liar for showing what was OUTSIDE MY OWN FRONT DOOR. Do you remember that? I do. Do you remember when they called illegal immigration unsolvable? I do. Before Trump got into office, I had no idea it was even a big problem, I had no idea our country was completely invaded by illegals until I got on X, and saw the truth. We are so quick to forget how dark it was before Trump came into office. I’m guilty of it just as much as anyone. But the beauty of the Trump rally, was that he reminded me of all the things he’s accomplished, and how much crap I’ve taken for granted, forgotten about, and then gotten upset about the problems he hasn’t solved yet. And I’m worried that a lot of people have or will be so caught up in the bad, that they forget the good. And there’s so much good On a personal note… I live in a very liberal city, and it was such a uniquely beautiful experience to be surrounded by people who didn’t hate me or want me dead. There’s so many good amazing people that love America and want her to succeed. That alone made the trip with it.

I started thinking about the way that I felt when I watched law firms like Paul Weiss capitulate to Trump… when ABC and CBS settled insane lawsuits with Trump… when tech CEOs and companies lined up to pay Trump millions for his ballroom. I remember being so fucking angry because, in effect, those people and their decision to try and make their own lives easier actually made the rest of us less safe, less secure in our democracy — because now Trump knows how easy it is to wield the government against his enemies to get his way. When I saw my name on Trump's newest enemies list, the absolute last thing I was going to do was the same thing all those other cowards did: fold to Trump, get themselves out of trouble, and not think about the effect that it was having on everybody else. So if that means I have to speak out every fucking day, then that's what I'm going to do.
