I’m just curious what this behavior means
10 Comments

It means "Damnit, you just scared the hell out of me"

Cats do it when they are excited, mine does it every time it sees birds

that's his way of saying 'bless you'. lol!

Cats don’t like to be surprised or taken off guard, I think that’s why they hate the human sneeze.

Just a way to indicate they're annoyed by the sneeze. Usually they make this sound when they see birds or insects, but I guess sneezes also work for this cat.

My Wolfgang HATES when I sneeze, I usually hold it in or go to another room to do it 🤫 But he still gets very upset.

I'm going to guess that sneezes are irritating to their very sharp hearing.

He's blessing her and wishing her good health or telling her to cover her mouth when she sneezes, because he ain't trying to get sick.

My boy would try to murder me if I sneezed. I miss him.
