When I was a kid, and my Grandma made a pumpkin pie, I would run my finger around the inside edge. I thought I was pretty smart. I was dumb as a rock.😝

"Cleaning up the edges" is what my dad called it. In fact, story time. My mother once made brownies but they ended up not quite as solid as brownies usually are so he'd keep "cleaning up the edges" as the brownies would slowly ooze over sideways until eventually they were completely slanted towards the open row.
