Ray Charles > Elvis

I love Ray, but the main appeal of Elvis was his performing style and sexuality, yknow, all the visual aspects of his appeal

Elvis would play and write songs with his black friends. That's where he got a lot of his songs from. He didn't steal it. They were created together. Unfortunately due to the racial times more people didn't get credit That isn't Elvis's fault though. He tried to be the bridge

"Even a blind man can see."

why are yall commenting on an out of context quote that isn't even supposed to be controversial? white boys in england were in fact unaware of rock n roll until elvis bc he was so popular his impact bled over which then led to black artists being acknowledged afterwards

Ray was a jealous old man

Bros blind and rich and still sees color. Says more about ray then Elvis and I don’t even like Elvis

Jealous bitter old man
