Babies cry for many different reasons - some more performative than others. It’s worth noting here that attention seeking is a perfectly legitimate reason for a cry at this age. Crying is an important tool for pre verbal children - and shouldn’t be ignored just because it seems premeditated. There’s something your little one is attempting to tell you - so don’t skimp on attention just because it’s being requested.
