I’m kind of struggling getting into the #USOpen

The hardest and most interesting courses IMO have greens which feature run off areas around the green leaving challenging chips and short game shots, not just heavy rough and variations of explosion shots. Thick rough is a real penalty, it’s also boring

This is one of the most forgettable US Opens I can ever remember, so dull , TV coverage is shocking, not s fan of Oakmont especially without trees 🙄

Agree, without the trees it’s just a big field above a motorway, not a fan of Oakmont at all for “the viewing experience”

IMO, Oakmont is a dull and boring venue. Few trees, no water, artificially set up to be impossible to play. Some of what I’ve been watching isn’t Golf I’m afraid.

Most boring us open in a long time. Slow. Ruff too thick.

Honestly you people would much rather watch the Sony Open. Pop and crisps golf. This is a monster course and a fabulous event.
