I’m kinda leaning towards getting a boxer when I get a dog

I bred and raised boxers for years. They are the sweetest, goofiest and most loyal pups around. They are great with kids too.

It’s why I’m really leaning in that direction. My friend had one and I loved him even though he knocked me over when he got too excited once 😂

Yep. They do love the ‘jump and push off of ya move’. That’s where that “boxer” name comes in. 🐶🥊😉😆

Please research Boxers and their health issues and behavioral issues first! Boxers are getting meaner and meaner because people don’t know how to handle them and their energy. Also, lymphoma & heart issues. Seen too many boxers come in with sudden death, playing and having fun, seemingly healthy and young, then drop dead from their heart. My coworkers are surprised I have a 13 yr old mix that only JUST developed stage b1 valve disease.

Our boxer was one of the best dogs we ever had. But you need to commit to giving it LOTS of exercise, open runs, multiple times a day. They are the funniest, sweetest dogs but they def need exercise

Man, three boxers over the last 12 years, and the joy they bring to your life cannot be explained in words. Sad irony...how something that brings so much joy lives such a short time hurts like you can't explain.

I’ve had 3 in my life. They’re amazing dogs and fierce protectors. Also some of the most gentle dogs with kids. Just be prepared to deal with some very stinky farts.

They are very excited, eager, BOUNCY, dogs. if you have the lifestyle that won't bore them, then yeah sure.

They have way to much destructive energy 🤣

They require tons of exercise for sure. Be ready for that or ready for mayhem. Thems your choices. Great dogs though. Def recommend
