Out of everywhere to move… could have bought an insane property in Italy or south of France, gorgeous food and weather for a fraction of the price (and y’know, slavery, destroying the environment etc…)

It’s such a classic move this. A wealthy influencer raves about how good Dubai is because they don’t have to pay taxes and completely ignores the underlying wealth disparity, exploitation of migrant workers in living environments, pay and visa situations, social hierarchy etc.
