I'm locked in complete isolation with breath control for many hours waiting for the Dom to finish work at home. I was afraid and excited at the same time because the box was completely soundproofed and I didn't know if He could hear me calling for help.

I didn't hear Penny call my name at the finish line. And tjo shem she tried. I think I know why I didn't hear her shout my name.....My goal was an 11:15 - 11:20 finish. We started in batches of 3 and I was in the 3rd wave. Out of habit, I switched my Garmin off twice at a water point and forgot to switch it back on for a while. My timing was off and I had no idea what time it was. I wasn't worried as I knew I was comfortably ahead of cut-off. At 72 kms, I heard a fellow runner tell another that "We have 2 and a half hours left to finish. We will come in at 11:10." Silly me didn't realize that these were group 2 runners and they had started earlier. Which meant I had even more time to finish and I'd caught up with many Group 2 runners. I had judged myself according to their progress. As I came closer to the finish line I saw the Group 3 clock say 10:58:22. I was stunned, mentally frozen so I switched off and chased my bronze medal with 1 minute 7 seconds to spare. A 10:58:53 finish was satisfying.

First day in studio today for something different to add to the CV. When I was at school I was so dyslexic that I wasn’t allowed to do French because I couldn’t read or write in English let alone anything else. I left school at 16 - it wasn’t for me! Fast forward to working life and I never pushed for studio work at Sky because I was terrified that I wouldn’t be able to cope with the French content we show on the channel. Turns out you just need the right people around you to help find the workarounds and help get you there. Sky Sports Racing 🙏

Every day for the past 26 years I'm grateful I didn't listen to my doctor who wanted me to take a statin for my high LDL. At 68 I can work with my personal trainer and box for an hour. I wonder if I'd have the strength to do so if I had taken that statin and suffered the muscle atrophy, brain fog and diabetes that could've developed from the medication, with virtually no benefit for my heart.

Some kids came up to our door, lit a firework, and ran. It could easily be mistaken for a gunshot because it was similar to an M80 and loud. If I was home at the time it went off, I would have gone in defense mode for my family. This is the last thing you want to do in Texas. I'm all for kids being kids but this is too far for a prank.

The strongest guy in the gym asked me for a spot and then I got 105s for DB incline press for the first time. If someone handed me the 115s I think I could do them too I just hate that hoist when getting into position. I'm always afraid I'm gonna rip my arm from my shoulder lol

this was Yoojun’s first time at the beach. look at him walking on the sand for the first time, he tripped because he wasn’t used to it but HE DIDN'T CRY AT ALL, such a brave and smart baby. and the way he walked on that beach was the most precious and adorable thing ever 🥹❤️
