It's rough being a black game developer! We get hated on and our choices in what we make are always being forced into limitations! I grew up playing Thief, Metal Gear Solid and Zelda and I will make a black version no matter what anyone says!

"This industry still picks one black game dev at a time to highlight." Fr! It can feel like being forced to compete w/ other black game devs. Has a side effect of fostering competitive spirit instead of collaborative spirit b/w game devs, which adds to feelings of isolation

NO ONE buys games for diversity, if this complaining blatt had any sense he would have made his game the best in the genre then added on his diversity. We play games because they are fun. Blatts need to stop complaining.

This is insane...I used Claude Code to build a game that helps me memorize real street names. I got the idea from something I do on my weekly long walks which is reciting every cross street in my head, block by block to learn my way around SF. I thought it could be a fun game to build inside vibecode.dev (which uses Claude Code) and i'm loving the accuracy of the results.

I'm the developer of this game, I've played it thousands of times, written the code for everything in it. When I was coding the behavior of the drones in the Erra: Exordium, drones exploding outside my window in reality. I wanted to add a lot to the game, but I was afraid that if I died tomorrow, the world would never see this game. So, I had to abandon some plot parts, some scenes, characters, animations, a lot of things..., a third of the game was never released. I really regret it, but our reality and our world are a madhouse. I'm currently working on a game that's completely different. I want to create a little world of peace, energy, mystery, and puzzles. I hope I can do that, because the world has become even more idiotic.
