This post made me realize that AI is a % buff. If a person's base stats are shit, AI won't do anything for them, so of course they'll think AI is useless or bad and hate others who can utilize AI better.

The most I've ever done with "VTubing" was a VRoid model with a generic 3D avatar I did for YouTube videos a while back for some AI tutorials I did. Something like this would definitely be fun to do. Can't wait to see how the project develops!

Something remarkable about what Leaflit is doing is that she creates her software almost completely with AI. She isn’t familiar with programming, yet she is still capable of making something do innovative with only her imagination and a will to help people.

This looks amazing by any chance do you know how much strain it puts on a computer compared to a live2d model? I've been having issues using my current model on streams for more demanding games so I'm curious if this would run lighter in comparison

It’s lighter than running a gif reactive.

That's awesome I haven't got ahold of a gif reactive myself. However a few friends of mine having been running them for reasons I listed above so that's amazing it's even lighter than those. Also I'm a massive fan of yours and heavily respect you =)

Right now it uses iphone but I can probably set it up for webcam as well quite easily. I know I personally like using it without facetracking sometimes.

Nice! Not needing an iPhone would be a game changer in some markets, like here in Brazil, where an iPhone often costs up to a year's worth of minimum wage income. Accessibility is always a plus in my eyes. Thanks for responding, Leaflit.

It's funny seeing the responses from some, because where I (and you as well) see near limitless potential with what this tech could be used for, they see only see a "thing" to hate. I've been experimenting with my own designs in Fugi, so I would love to see what more can be done with Adventurer when it is ready to release.

The table top streams for angel sword TTRPG channel are gonna be fire if ppl start making an “adventurer” avatar with their characters. Death is just gonna hit that much harder for players as this just gets better and better.

While I don't know if I'll make use of this myself, thank you Leaflit. There's a lot of people screeching and complaining constantly about AI, and while it isn't perfect, you and many others have made use of it to make cool shit that is lowering the barrier to entry for so many hobbies that keep ballooning in price. I don't doubt there's a lot of people who will find this useful. Please never stop making cool shit.
