I'm more algorithms guy than a designer. I managed procedurally visualize cities in my civ-alike game. But they're rather on the ugly side. And it's hard to say how to fix it. Though, it will be in harmony with the ugly city management UI I'm about to create.

Caught up with Jaxson Dart and Cam Skattebo, who are promoting Bounty at the Super Bowl. Had to ask Skattebo for an update on his ankle, even though he's getting tired of the questions. Here's the latest: "I'm starting to run again and people are telling me to be careful and do this and do that. It's like, 'I'm good.' I'm not going to put myself in a bad spot, but I'm working to get better. I'm probably about two months out of being fully healthy. Getting there, but having a good time while doing it." They're even a duo as pitchmen. More to come in a story later/tomorrow.

Ok, you asked and the little dragon lives on mobile now. For those interested in the technical side I had to change the text rendering from canvas to native to make it look crisp on mobile. Which means I had to lose the heat distortion effect on the flame displacement. But I think it's worth it for clear text. (If anyone knows how to make canvas text render crisp on mobile I'd love to hear about it. I'm hoping it's just something simple I'm missing!)

There's a huge problem in the trucking industry that nobody likes to talk about. I don't mind talking about it, though. I'm not going to hold back now. The FMCSA is a failure. They're allowing inexperienced drivers on our roads with your families. Some are here on work visas, and some are US citizens. How many people have to be injured or die before they start listening to us? Will you or a loved one be the next victim? I hope not. Trucking Across America with the Schmitts and I can fix this if you advocate for us.

AM2R is a triumph. The original Metroid 2 on Game Boy was my first Metroid game, back when I was about 7. I've since played it about ten times. Over the years I've played all the 2D Metroids over and over, 5 to 20 times each. I don't usually play fan games, but this week I decided to finally give AM2R a shot (on Hard with an Xbox controller), and I gotta say... it's fantastic. It's simultaneously a more faithful remake than Samus Returns, and more satisfying to play and 100% complete. I like Samus Returns alright -- it's probably my least favorite 2D Metroid, still a good game though. But I think AM2R is even better.

it's getting to the point where i can just feel that an app is using RSCs when i use it - nearly 1s page navigations i'm sure it can be improved but yet to come across an RSC app in the wild that feels good about to say v0 but just checked idk if they're using them anymore

Okay yall. I did it. Textured + Holographic Gold art pieces are working out. I've always wanted to do Gold ones but I knew I wanted to make it holographic (at least). Well this is textured too. It's a pain in the butt to make. But it's beautiful. Because it's a lot more work, I'm charging $5 more than the regular ones. Only 1 design available now - the Mega Charizard X EX one, 10 in stock for now. It's hard! I'm a dad. I'll try to do more after. There will be more don't worry. Link below! Also this one is not waterproof and scratched resistant, please treat it with care! What's next? Gold, BWRs, Rainbows? Gotta make em all

I'm a bit confused about $XRP. I don't know if I'm the only one who feels this way, but I'd really like to know if anyone else feels the same way. I bought it in 2022 and have held it ever since. While I still believe in it deep down, my hopes are slowly fading. I see some so-called experts coming out to predict prices, and sometimes I start to believe those hype stories. To be honest, I just hope it will one day rise to $10. If it really reaches $10, I'll be overjoyed. But at the same time, I don't know if it will reach $5 this year or next. I'm a long-term holder and don't expect to get rich overnight. I just want to hear the opinions of people who genuinely believe it still has potential and a future. Even if it's only $2 higher than my average purchase price, I'll be very happy. #XRP #Crypto #Ripple
