…anyways here’s something I made by hand with zero experience bc I was willing to learn through trial and error! I got to harness my creativity in a fun new way and in the end it was all the more precious to me bc of its flaws. Believe it or not the joy is in the process!

This is the place, absolutely stunning, it’s not currently on google maps but very easy to find. The owner is such a lovely person and it goes for GHS 450 per night. Has a TV, AC, Mini fridge, a fan in the rooms. My girls and I went there and it was so much fun.

So last night at the movies, I got a notification that my right tire pressure was low, almost flat. I feared that someone had slashed it, but after the movie was done, went outside to check. We found a nail in the tire immediately and I was so happy that I used my referral credits just last week to purchase a tire air compressor in the Tesla shop. I had credits that were going to expire and I figured while I might as well get some safety related things to put in my car since I’m having a baby soon and immediately had a use for it!! This thing works amazingly. I just thought that the timing was so serendipitous and wanted to share. Someone on X recommended I get one for my trunk and so thank you, great product!

I had an early access to GPT-6 Astra and I can say, everyone in the world now has a 3D designer at their fingertips. I gave it an image of a house and asked to create it in 3D with all the details including toys, appliances and furniture. This a full 3D model reconstruction in Blender with geometry that you can manually tweak and run 60fps as a locally rendered "game" on device.

I was at a beach club in Bali with a few friends. We were drinking, hanging out, and eventually they decided to head home. I wasn’t ready to leave, so I stayed. I ended up talking to a group of Australian girls. We were all getting along, and after a while they asked if I’d buy everyone a round of shots. I did. One round turned into several. By the end of it I’d had around 6-7 shots and was definitely drunk. Then one of the girls asked for my Instagram. She took my phone to add herself. It was already unlocked, so I handed it over without thinking twice. That was the biggest mistake of the night.

Yo! That new animation looks promising, I really hope you will like it. I learned a lot of new animation tools for this teaser, and it was a lot of fun to make. Also tried using Koikatsu to create the hair, and I'm really happy with how it looks now.

My son had a baseball game tonight in a Jersey town a lot less red than my own, and as my daughter and I pulled into a store for the requisite game snacks, a lovely and kind woman saw us and she said she enjoyed the things I write on here. And honestly, with the amount of hate I get on here (yes trolls, bravo) it was just so wonderful to hear. And so, if she’s out there and happens to read this, my little girl said it made her “feel proud of her mom”, so thank you for that. And thank you for your kindness. It meant the world to me. ❤️ Oh, and my boy got a huge hit too. So, it was a 10/10 kind of night.

I’m posting this, why? I really don’t know why. Other than some idiot told me my leg was f***ed up, looked horrible, that I should wear long pants and should be embarrassed to wear shorts. I turned and quietly walked away. Still, it struck a nerve, it pissed me off. Years ago I took a boat propeller through that knee. I had bilateral tib/fib fractures. Had 13 fractures between the two legs. I had the whole death experience thing. It was a miracle I lived. I was not supposed to keep the leg. They were doubtful I would ever walk again. I spent 4 months in a hospital bed. Did time in a wheelchair. Spent over a year on crutches. Had a cane for a while. There were numerous surgeries. I worked my tail off trying to recover and return to normal. It took many years to get rid of the limp. I now walk without a limp. I run. I bicycle. I snow ski. And some idiot is going to have issue with how my leg looks? Well, that is just too darn bad. Go get a life. I’ll probably delete this in a day or two, but right now I am a bit pissed. Okay, and admittedly a bit bothered by it. It is amazing that it bothered as much as it did. Guess maybe deep inside I was remembering how it used to make me feel when people made fun of me back when I had a limp, and worse yet, how people (yes, strangers) would make fun of me in public when I just starting to walk and had trouble controlling my legs. So, really just venting, shouting into the void. That is all. I am sure I will be okay in the morning.
