Maybe a bit off-topic, but from talking to my friends I’ve got an impression that the “top rated” universities usually mean they are simply the best at torturing students. That sounds quite nice for companies, if the student could endure that then they won’t complain at work.

Art school or art as thing to study in an institution for is pretty unnecessary you can totally be an artist with no degree or formal education, that doesnt mean you are more or less passionate about it. Even if you drop out you are an artist as long as you do or did art.
