"I'm not talking about any speculation" 🗣️ Mikel Arteta would not be drawn into speculation about Myles Lewis Skelly's future amid interest from Chelsea and Manchester United ❌

Arteta is one of the smartest managers I've seen when it comes to interview questions. He leaves you to keep guessing. At the end or beginning of the day, LEWIS SKELLY is one of our own. Huge talent! 🔴⚪

Arteta refusing to discuss transfer speculation is the least surprising development of the entire window.

But ok to tap players up & agree terms before selling club knows about it. Yeah right #shithouseclub

He should.make his interest known , if he wants him to stay or not.

He is not for sell.

He’s staying

Mikel Arteta handling transfer speculation with his trademark straight bat is peak press conference armor. Shutting down the noise around Myles Lewis-Skelly amid interest from Chelsea and United keeps the focus entirely on the pitch, but you just know the chatter behind the scenes is hitting a fever pitch. 🛑🔴⚪ #Arsenal #Transfers #PremierLeague

That wording shuts down the question without ruling out a transfer, which is why the speculation will keep running.

The boss refuses to talk about any speculation regarding the star academy player's future. He's not letting rival clubs anywhere near our top talent.Should Arsenal guarantee Lewis-Skelly first-team minutes this season to keep him?

Sometimes I wish he would just say He's Staying We're Not Selling Him to end all the speculation.

A fool asked him that question!

Arteta isn’t giving anything away — and that probably says enough. 👀 Lewis-Skelly is a huge talent, so Arsenal’s priority should be keeping him and continuing his development rather than strengthening a direct Premier League rival. Chelsea or Manchester United — who would be the better destination for him if he actually leaves? 🔥

No club want him actually

Smart move by Arteta to shut that down right away. Lewis-Skelly has huge potential, so Arsenal definitely need to lock him down long term!

Chelsea don’t need him pls

We ain't selling gold your money or look toward other kids

Myles Lewis-Skelly is definitely not for sale.

Absolute prick of a manager get Cesc in

Love that energy from Arteta, but you just know the agents are already texting 😂

Lewis-Skelly’s versatility is his biggest weapon. His ability to step into midfield from full-back gives a team an extra player in possession and creates different passing angles. If Arsenal keep developing that tactical flexibility, he could become much more than a traditional left-back. 👀🔴⚪️

He is not for sale. No more speculation

Pls who knows this man wife, I know he listens to his wife and family, let him sign a quality LF, and a centre back. Season is almost starting.

Morning

He is definitely not for sale
