Not really bc what she said abt food deserts is simply not factual. Food deserts don’t have one big supermarket, that is an oxymoron. She clearly doesnt know what a food desert is. Food deserts will have one small shop where everything is at an exuberant price, including the toothbrush she keeps mentioning lol. If a box of cereal or a single bag of grapes is already over $20, nobody is going to even bother touching the tofu. If you live in a food desert, like on a reservation, the only service that’s delivering is the United States postal service that is required by federal law to deliver some mail. The vegan sources she’s citing arent going to pay fedex or whoever to deliver FOOD (which would have to be something like next day air so it won’t spoil), theyre going to pass that cost onto the consumer. Like majority of these vegans who want to force their lifestyle onto others, she’s still using the same shame tactic thats based in ignorance abt how others actually live.

At the end of the day, she made a choice for a lifestyle that WORKS for HER. She also gave a view point that most don’t point out and is valid in her opinion. Accessibility and luxury to be vegan is what she promotes (if she is promoting it).

So to be vegan you need to take lots of supplements to make up the deficit in nutrients you don’t get from your diet? Yeah weird….

veganism kills more animals than it "saves". on a farm all native wildlife and insects have to be killed to make the land suitable for crops, further by not breeding animals for meat you lessen the amount of potential animals particularly herd animals that can't survive alone.

Yea that's a great dream or whatever but it's simply not viable or the solution. Humans have eaten meat for basically the entirety of our existence. Also we have freedom of choice so you know. Too bad. You cannot force people to do something just because it makes you feel better.

ingredients to make tofu involves farming that kills alot more animals with the pesticides you use to make sure your crop can grow without anything getting at it (rabbits, moles, snakes, birds etc.) then let alone whatever didn’t get out of the field will be ran over and chopped

She answered everything based on the premise that going vegan is the right choice. The questions are trash as well but her stance is vegan is better, we have the choice/ability to go vegan, so go vegan. I guess the bar is low but, to me, that’s not “very well”.

Ethically, we do have the options to avoid eating meat while being healthy and it would do good if done right. Realistically, it takes a larger amount of effort to eat vegan healthily and most aren't going to do the research necessary and will wind up malnourished like her.

Do you know how many rabbits, squirrels, deer etc…are shot to protect tofu farms? Did you know trees are connected via neural networks in their roots and can tell when they’re being cut down or harvested and send warnings? Life consumes life. It doesn’t matter what you eat.

She was comparing cow farms to concentration camps. Even here in Germany that is a crime, she might have noble intentions but her arguments have turned completely crazy

The mistake she makes is thinking that being vegan, even in modern society is not a luxury choice. If everyone stopped eating meat and demanded beans and tofu, we wouldn't have sufficient supply, and people would have to go back to eating meat or starve.
