It's pretty crazy that this is only going to get better and better over time. You can have it explain the most complicated parts of your codebase to you in whatever style you want: crazy motion graphics, a documentary, a game, an audiobook.

So far on X, I've mostly seen these capabilities used for marketing and entertainment, but I highly recommend using it to teach you things.

yes! that's why we created this skill, it always help to understand everything easily

๐ we've come a long way from mermaid diagrams... two months ago.

Alas, it's not quite yet Delba tier. So please tell Opus 5.6 all your secrets ๐

the unnecessary animation is sigkilling me

great usecase

Do you have a skill for this?

Love this videos! Is just open code + something like remotion ?

What for? You would never need this.

I really love your style. I reckon the motion graphics look amazing too. I would love to add your style to my own open-source style library which is already 43 style now.

PR-goes-poof should be the default response to (slop) ai generated contributions

using this

love this

kit you are making the kit that every engineer will need

I tried using a music video, and what could be more memetic than a repeated chorus

Code review has a trailer now. I'm going to need the director's commentary for the auth middleware.

I lile that style. What are keywords to replicate it?

Which model are you using and do you have a skill to share?

So this is just a simple 3-node UML diagram that you make someone watch for a minite as infographics

Does the explainer regenerate when the PR picks up new commits?

What model is this?

a motion graphic per PR is a fun answer to the 'did anyone actually read this diff' problem. does it usually get the change right, or do you end up checking the animation against the code too?

Using motion graphics for every non-trivial PR is a sharp way to make review faster. Iโd love to see if it also surfaces edge cases earlier.

video prompt: explain it to me like I just had a lobotomy

genuinely the first thing i loved about effect institute was the narration, is that ai or you yourself?

Can we just ask it and it will do..or some other procedures you are following

u mean claude? i swear these mfs just mislead ppl just for the love of the game

This is so good

U use any additional APIs?

Seems that the code explaining the PR might be even more complicated than the change itself ๐คฃ

what prompt are you using for this?

Cool, but what a massive waste of tokens

motion explainer per PR is a neat idea. do reviewers actually watch them, or does it mostly help the author spot what they missed?

I deadass never listen to the actual words being said I just listen to your voice and the visuals ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ

Will be stealing this for our PRs, very useful! Has it ever been inaccurate in what its described?
