'Greens to pledge £15 minimum wage' I'm old enough to remember Keir Starmer declaring: "They're not asking for the earth, they're asking for the basics, £15 quid an hour.. that ought to be the norm in 21st century Britain and it will be the norm if we have a Labour govt"

On his way up Keir Starmer pretended he was on the side of ordinary people & he'd take our water back into public ownership. But once at the top he dropped that commitment & now sides with the profiteering water companies. And whoever succeeds him this year will be just the same

STARMER - Misinformation or disinformation? If Labour won the next election he said he would abolish the House of Lords and replace it with a small democratically elected chamber. Yet has now announced 30 new Labour peers. Oh 🤡

I remember Keir Starmer in 2023 saying "I don't want Labour MPs on picket lines" Three years earlier he'd stood on a picket line as a Labour MP & declared: "It's really important you get politicians to come out & support you & stand with you in this. I'm very proud to do that"

During the election campaign Anas Sarwar described as "nonsense" a suggestion that Scottish Labour MPs would do exactly what Keir Starmer told them to, irrespective of what Scottish Labour members wanted. Tonight Scottish Labour MPs did what Starmer told them to.

This is the Labour Party in 2026. Asked whether public ownership would be an acceptable outcome if private ownership failed, Business Secretary Jonathan Reynolds replied: “I would like the steel industry to be in private hands. That is my preference.” Steel is not some optional luxury. It is strategic infrastructure, essential to defence, energy, transport, construction and national security. Yet even after the near-collapse of British steelmaking, Labour ministers still treat private ownership as the natural order and public ownership as the reluctant fallback. A Labour government that cannot make the case for public ownership of a strategic steel industry has travelled a very long way from the party that once understood why national assets mattered. "Public control isn't public ownership" Yep & as Kevin also points out, public ownership is actually popular If Burnham planned to nationalise something he'd be shouting it from the rooftops. But as his choice of language demonstrates, he isn't planning to nationalise anything

🔵 If Rishi Sunak is elected, flights will take off to Rwanda. 🔴 If Keir Starmer is elected, illegal migrants will be released onto our streets. That’s your clear election choice. Don’t surrender our borders to the Labour Party.

🇬🇧 “WE WANT STARMER OUT - I SAY WE WANT STARMER OUT” The British public are quickly reaching breaking point as Keir Starmer & Labour continue to run the entire Country into the Ground - All by design.

Keir Starmer resigning is not enough. We must hold Labour to the standards they set when the Conservatives were changing leader. In Starmer’s own words: “Britain deserves better. General election now”

As rumours swirl that Labour are already considering autumn tax rises, the party respond to allegations that going back on their election promise would damage public trust in the party and prove Rishi Sunak right:

If you’re thinking Starmer campaigning for his sworn opponent in a by-election is unprecedented you’re absolutely wrong! Here’s Dennis Healey campaigning for Tony Benn in the 1984 Chesterfield by-election. It’s hilarious and even the banner couldn’t take any more! VOTE LABOUR!

"Too much of our public funding is going to private companies to make massive profits to give to their shareholders" Spot on Kim Johnson Keir Starmer promised that Labour would launch the biggest wave of insourcing in a generation. But like with everything else, he was lying.

On the Sunday Show today, Labour MP Kirsty McNeill told Martin Geissler her party did not promise Scottish voters that Scottish Labour MPs would stand up to Keir Starmer. Really Kirsty? Here's Anas Sarwar during the election campaign.
