I have severe stage fright. I’m not a content creator and I’m not trying to become one. I made this video, asked for honest feedback in discord and got told I need a webcam, more practice, a better setup. All fair. I still took it hard, and had tears down my face. Not because the notes were wrong. Because I already knew all of it. I know I’m awkward on camera. I know it isn’t polished. I know someone will ask if I was being held hostage. Here’s where I land though. I’m a trader first. The minute content becomes the priority, trading gets squeezed, and that’s the one thing I won’t give up. If it takes hours of takes and gear for me to look good talking, it’s not worth it to me. So I almost didn’t post this. Then I thought about it and figured that’s exactly why I should. Everything I show in it is free on .Prop Firm Trend, and for once I wanted to say it in my own voice instead of typing another caption. Awkward and all, here it is. I’m sure I’ll have harsh criticism and memes of me, but putting yourself out there is one of the hardest things people do.

Let’s get something straight, y’all: I’m not perfect. I’m a Christian. But I’m not a good one. I believe in Jesus 100%. But I cuss like a sailor. I’m quick to anger. I’ll throw these hands. I’m absolutely riddled with sin. If I get past the pearly gates, I’ll wind up on the Southside of Heaven where folks are listening to Bocephus and drinking moonshine. And I’m okay with that. Here’s what I’m not okay with: I’m not okay with someone being disrespectful to me or anyone else, especially in an instance like this. For those of y’all who don’t know Renatta, you should go follow her. She’s inspirational. She makes me want to be a better Christian. She’s full of love and light. Her disability? It’s insignificant. Renatta is often attacked by people on the left. Folks call her the r-word for standing up for her beliefs. Yeah. The all accepting left… picking on a woman for not fitting their standard of normal. I’m drained. I’m tired. 😪 I made this video February, saying to myself how I’m trusting God that everything won’t be the same before June/year ends but guess what? We are in June and it’s still the same. I put in efforts, I put in the work but nothing just seems to work. I’m honestly tired, if I think of how invested I am in the skill, I will just burst into tears and say I’m never giving up but this moment? So, I’m doing the thing. The thing Rob Hallam did last year. But I’m not alone. I’m in Istanbul Airport right now with my girlfriend and our cat. We’re waiting for our 9-hour flight to Bangkok. It leaves in around 2 hours. This time, it has to work. I’m running low on money. I can’t complain. I’m ramen profitable thanks to one of my products and I still have some savings. Man I’m 32, I want things to trend upward again, not downward. So this time, I want to turn my SaaS, into a real product. A product people actually love using. and people actually pay for. However, this time, I’m building a product I’ll use myself every day. And I’m building it for a niche I love and understand. There are of course no guarantees. Still, this is where we are. Back to square one. $0 MRR. Just me, $200USD Claude Code, a camera, a mic, and a product I believe in. This will be my main focus while in Bangkok for the next few months. I’ll record everything. I’ll share everything. Let’s do the thing. Let’s actually f*cking do the thing. Also, cat food is expensive, so I better move fast.

I’m going to be honest. It’s been really hard on me. I’m unapologetically black in a predominantly white space and I face battles that no one else has to deal with. Culturally I’m different from literally every other person in this space so I feel completely misunderstood at times. People create fake accounts to harass me, I’ve been called the N word more times than I ever have in my life, people who I don’t even know go on podcasts and make up lies about me being a “runner”. Some people even found my mom’s number on the internet and called her house trying to get to me. Even when I’m winning it feels like every single bet or analysis is life or death. I don’t feel like I’m given the grace that other people may get who look different from me. I love what I do but I don’t deserve to be treated the way I’m treated by people especially for how much I’ve given to this space. I also don’t take kindly to being constantly called a DEI hire with all the things I’ve accomplished either. I probably don’t handle it the best. Ivy League degree aside, deep down I’m still a black kid from South West Philly and when I feel attacked, I revert back to the version of me that had to survive growing up.
