The issue with "diversity" rarely has anything to do with the literal definition of the word. Diversity isn't the goal. It is the trojan horse. In the context of DEI, "Diversity" is nothing more than an attempt to enforce political conformity under the fear that questioning these initiatives makes you look "racist" or "intolerant."

If you add a lion to a zebra sanctuary, it’s certainly more diverse. But the zebras are obviously worse off.

One of the first people I ever hired to do work for me happened to be gay. His gayness isn't what got him hired. His beyond incredible math skills did.

The coolest gay people don't lead with it, or make it their whole personality and identity.

Forced diversity is a mechanism of control. True diversity is organic and emergent.
