I work with PIP claims. PIP is not taxable, and so it's just wrong when she says 'it goes toward tax for hospitals' .. no, it goes into your pocket. Also just seemingly missing the point entirely that people are WORKING and SLAVING AWAY to pay for all the things she needs. Nobody is arguing with her that she needs those things, but without those workers paying for it.. she would not have them at all. Thanking people for giving the stuff you need so you don't have to get it yourself seems reasonable, no? Also, PIP is supposed to be solely for the additional needs of suffering with certain conditions, it never advertises itself as existing to cover your primary expenses, that's what UC / WCA is for. Which she is likely also claiming. So PIP is NOT her sole source of income anyway lol

No one is saying they're living in luxury, but they are in receipt of largesse and this entitled mindset where they act like they aren't is worthy of condemnation. Your life isn’t supposed to be comfortable on a benefit the point of a benefit is to keep you alive until you can work again if life is too easy on a benefit people wouldn’t go back to any work. Why work when life is comfortable doing nothing?

The guy on self scan at my local Tesco is severely disabled, has hearing aids, gets about in a chair. He is the highlight of my visits there. He refuses to accept benefits as he loves to work. He is an inspiration to me. He blames nothing and loves life.
