Mr. Pritzker, I took a road trip from Chicago to Chattanooga this weekend. Not only was gas in Illinois the most expensive, it was over a dollar more per gallon than in Tennessee, but it also took me over an hour just to get through the city. Once I crossed into Indiana, traffic cleared up. The worst jam I hit after that was a 10 minute slowdown due to construction. Did you know other states have construction crews working at night, when roadwork should happen? Indiana, Kentucky, and Tennessee all had smooth, well maintained roads. No craters. No endless detours. No closed lanes with nobody working. So tell me, Mr. @GovPritzker, how does a state with one of the highest gas taxes in the country, some of the worst roads and traffic, and the highest effective tax rate in America, somehow keep pretending everything is fine? You are not protecting us. You are exploiting us. I feel exploited and lied to. #Twill
