If you live here and you don't develop health problems... you will not escape without spiritual problems ๐คง

Surulere is one of the most overrated places in mainland with high rent rates couple with old buildings...I rather go to okokomaiko and rent house

Proximity to island

I saw this .. I wan nod the agent ๐

๐ฉ๐ฉ

After paying 3M in surulere Renovation costs likely-2m (low budget) In 5years the housing crisis in lagos would be unimaginable

God help us

They should arrest everyone involved here

Wait o, 3 Million Naira for house wey water dey soak from ground reach roof? ๐ค

You see that mold all over the place, no renovation is sorting them. Serious health risk loadingโฆ

Funny how in that surulere most of the Landlord donโt accept one year rent. They will be telling you, you have to pay two years rent. Them too Dey gas themselves for that area. Apart from proximity to the island, there is nothing surulere have over Egbeda. Egbeda even has more modern houses lol

If you live here, na from here you go go village and you village people will have nothing to do with it for 3M.

Sanwoolu is a terrible governor,Lagos has never had someone as worse as him ,I use to like him a lot but recently I have realised how Terrible he is

This nonsense 3M per annum. The Lagos state government seriously has to do something about the housing market in their state.

This house no suppose pass 300k

After paying 3m and you're using the toilet:

Na you been day support them na๐

๐ถ๐พโโ๏ธ๐ถ๐พโโ๏ธ

Dem need arrest the landlord, the agent and the person making this video.

In a sane clime , this marketer will be in police custody by now .

Increasing rent again ๐ญ๐ญ Omo I no sure say I go fit comot ikotun like this o

This house should be marked for demolition. My only prayer for the landlord is that @LasbcaA won't see this. ๐คฆ

We should be beating these people up

From experience, someone would rent this place, spend millions of naira to upgrade it to โtheir taste.โ A year or two later, the landlord will send a notice of rent increment. The tenant would contest the increment, arguing that he spent millions in renovating the place and hasnโt even enjoyed the benefits. The landlord, through his hungry agent, would send the tenant a notice to quit and most likely backdate it. Worse still, the landlord may not pursue the matter further, but unknown to the tenant, the landlord will go to court and serve the court proceedings on the tenant, and the court processes would include a notice to quit and notice of the ownerโs intention to recover possession. To the tenantโs shock, he has never been served these notices, yet the landlord claimed in the court papers that all legal notices were served before initiating action in court. Why is the landlord doing this? Since the tenant contested the rent increment, the landlord is aware that he can get a new tenant to pay way more than the current tenant so evicting the tenant to get a new one will satisfy the greed of the landlord and possibly his agent and partner in greed.

He is looking for tenants that will renovate his house for him.

I stay in Surulere.. Surulere is overrated abeg. You pay 3M Naira rent with no parking space.. almost all the streets in Surulere are very narrow.. When it rains flood everywhere. The only advantage is proximity to island, finish. Landlords in Surulere very greedy people

Yariba landlord and "major" renovation in the same sentence? Tell me another lie joor ๐

Portable is charging Carter Efe 10 million for him to just come to Carterโs studio for live streaming, Carter just shared their conversation Omoh ๐ญ๐ Still donโt understand his use there in the studio

Wait, so nobody saw the water marks on the walls? Like if you live here, get ready to carry your belongings on your head during rainy season

When you tell people, the unrealistic rents by property owners are borne out of personal avarice and inhumane tendencies, people make excuses for demand and supply. The property here is unlivable for Free, let alone on rent

This place doesn't need renovation,it needs to be demolished This is my problem with Lagos Landlords,no one needs to tell you it is water logged The building is definately below the road level Just visit during the rains, you will swim to home If they are ready, they should sell

This isn't even fit for pigs to live in once "renovated....there has to be a livable standard set by the state that makes sure all these slum landlords do the right thing. So this agent too will bring hand & to collect agency fee for this hatchery ?

This is what I do for a living Epoxy waterproofing system

Excessive dampness. Tenant will constantly deal with mold. Exposure to mold will trigger allergic reactions to the eyes, nose ,throat and even the lungs. Can even trigger asthma attacks. Tenants with toddlers will frequently visit the hospital.

House wey them go sell before year end

These are things our government needs to keep an eye on. Life is becoming unbearable for the average Nigerian. Everyone I know is having accommodation issues due to the rent increase.

For inside renovation, another renovation dey inside ๐คฃ

Why not renovate it before putting it up for rent?

Abeg make person find me the face behind the "voice over." I wan show am something
