I used AI to upscale it, depth-map it, & used the depth map to convert it to 3D SBS, & then converted that to Spatial Video for Apple Vision Pro (MV-HEVC). My son is currently a senior in high school, and my daughter is a sophomore in college. This video has complete spatial depth when viewed in the Apple Vision Pro. Obviously, you can't appreciate that via this post. But it's like I'm there & I can see into this room. Talk about giving you the feels.🥹 This can be done with ANY video. 🤯 I'm working on refining the workflow, as it's a bit cumbersome. I plan to share it, but holy cow! I had to post this.

Spatial video is so underrated. Yeah, we all laughed at that cringey Apple Vision Pro demo.. the dad with a headset strapped on at his kid’s birthday. But this isn’t just video recording.. This is a life moment recording. Watching a spatial video in Apple Vision Pro feels like almost being there. Words can’t do justice- you have to experience it. When we lost our cat Buttercup, it was devastating. But I have spatially recorded videos of him- me petting him and seeing in full 3D. Every hair on his body, the fluffy texture of his fur, even the details in his whiskers- it’s so vivid it feels like you could reach out and touch him. It’s therapeutic. Healing. Almost like a window back into those moments. I used to think we’d have to wait until we were living in spaceships, staring at hologram of loved ones, to be experiencing something like this. But Apple made that a reality- now, in our lifetime. That’s the power of spatial video.

visionOS 26 quietly introduced a glimpse into the future of how we’ll browse the web: a spatial Reader. Safari can now automatically transform a website’s content into a spatial experience using Spatial Scenes — allowing you to literally look into the rooms of the apartment you’re about to book for your next holiday. It does this by beautifully blending the content with your surroundings and softly tinting your room with the website’s color palette. It's just not possible to capture. I also love that Apple Intelligence lives in a floating window beside the content, ready to summarize the page for you. I can’t wait to see how this evolves into what we’ll one day call the Spatial Web.

If I’m being honest, I feel like I was avoiding this video. It’s been a weird start to the year. I was going through a bit of a weird time with [Warner]… it’s a whole thing. I couldn’t really say anything, so it just seemed like, ‘Where’s Leigh-Anne? Where’s the music? What’s going on?’ I obviously left my label; I’m now signed with Virgin. I’m fully independent, guys! But honestly, it’s been the most amazing thing for me. I feel like it just needed to happen, to be honest. I’ve been in this industry for how long now? What’s the point in doing it if I’m not doing it my way? So that’s all positive now, and I feel really excited and really good. But when that was all happening and I was in the midst of it all, I lost both of my dogs in the space of a month. It’s just crazy. It was unexpected and they’re literally like my babies. They’re part of the family. Losing both of them in such a short space of time was vile. I’m still coming to terms with it now. It’s just been a weird time. But I think the reason why I wanted to do this video is because, sometimes when you’re going through something and you really can’t see the light, it doesn’t feel like you’re going to be be okay again… You will. I’ve eaten candy bars for most of my life and the chocolate texture on top of most of them were always enjoyable to me. It’s like thicker sections of the chocolate that made it better. Being no stranger to having issues with textures I get it. But I never thought that this soils be an issue for anyone. This man doesn’t like the veiny appearance of a Snickers bar so he created his own contraption on a 3-D printer that cut it off so he could enjoy his Snickers bar. I often modify my food because of texture and mouthfeel of food. Like how I always peel the chicken skin off of rotisserie chicken unless it’s completely crispy. The soft mushy chicken skin that hasn’t been rendered is disgusting to me. It’s the reason why I even avoid eating rotisserie chicken just for that reason alone. Whenever I order a sandwich, I will often order it without sauce, and have them put it on the side because by the time I get home to eat it, it’s soggy and inedible in my opinion. So I’ve been told it’s a sensory issue and I can train myself to overcome it but to be honest I really don’t want to either. I always check my food and will just not eat it if it’s too soggy. So far that has worked for me. But this guy’s explanation for why he doesn’t like the candy bar is laughable for me, I get it, the texture ruins it for him which I can relate to.

MrBeast illustrates this with a metaphor he picked up from a TED talk: "If you're driving down the road and you just see a cow, you're probably not even going to look at it. Who cares? You've seen them all the time. But if you're driving down the road and there's a purple cow, you're going to look like four times, you're going to remember that.
