MrBeast says no one will ever do what he does better than him and the reason why is genuinely unsettling "I reinvest every penny I make. I work every hour I'm awake. I devote every atom in my brain to solving this. I hire the best people on the planet. I've been doing this for 14 years and I think in decades not years." "No, the next me isn't going to be me because no one's going to do what I do better than me. It's not possible. If I thought someone's doing better than me I'd just start sleeping less so I could work even more." "I don't have a life. I don't have work life balance. My personality, my soul, my being is making the best videos possible entertaining my fans as best as I can. That is what exists on this planet." "I'm miserable a lot of times. I have a mental breakdown every other week because I push myself so hard. Like, I don't recommend it."

Doug Leone on realizing material possessions don’t make you happy: “I spoiled myself with material things and then realized they don't make me happy at all. I sold my fancy cars at great discount. I just wanted them gone. One day I woke up and I just didn't want to have cars with vowels at the end of the name. I just got rid of them. I just wanted a more simple life. I wanted to to start to enjoy the little things in life.”

If I d!e today, my mum will follow within the next two months. I’m the only child she has. That’s why I brought her close to me. All the things you people are doing to me are getting to me. Right now, I feel like I should just get into the car and drink again,” — King Micthy reveals

Selling options has truly changed the way I look at money. It feels like I now have my own personal money printer. My win rate with selling options is around 90%+. Now, when I *buy* options my win rate is about 10-20%. Terrible, I know. Pretty much every loss you see in the video is from options I bought, and then some rolls sprinkled in for stocks I wasn’t ready to let go of. I much prefer being the casino (selling options). Soon I will be showing you all every single option I sell so you can learn as well. I’m starting to get kinda good at it ;)

Tom Cruise reveals he never reads scripts himself, he has the writers read them to him out loud "What I do with directors and writers is I don't read the scripts, I have them read it to me.” “Because I don't want my ideas to invade it yet. I want to understand what is their communication, they've been working on it, they have things that are just there. So they come to me and I just sit there and I'm like, I want you to read it to me" "And then we get to a place where I start to understand, and I'm like, I know how to contribute to that now. It sparks ideas. I have certain ideas, certain things I'd like to play with, and then I don't necessarily talk about it, I just do it.”

After Twitter decided to recommend me being trash at Silksong to 1.2M people, I feel like I have to prove: I am good at games, I SWEAR. It’s just the first HARD 2D game I've dedicated myself to. I have beaten all Souls + Sekiro & other Soulslikes like Wukong. Let me cook 🙏

Marshawn Lynch says he laughed in Pete Carroll's face after Russell Wilson's game ending interception in Super Bowl XLIX “I look at all nine of the other guys, and they look at me like, ‘What the fuck just happened.’ By the time it sat in, like, ‘Motherfucker what did we just call?’ You just hear all the cheering from the other sideline” “They sent me on the flat route. All I'm doing is running out there like, ‘Shit, at least you're going to hit me in the flat.’ When I get my head around, what the fuck going on. I don't see no ball coming” “Then I see the motherfuckers jumping up and down and cheering. Like, ‘Oh shit, he just threw a pick.’ You see the reaction from Sherm, Earl, Bruce, the D-line, all of them. Then as I'm going back to the sideline, I go by Russ and I just hear him like, ‘Oh man, I'll get him next time’” “I usually don't take my helmet off, but I take my helmet off and I go right to Pete Carroll’s face. I'm talking about I hit his ass with the biggest ‘AHAHAHA.’ At that point, I go to the locker room”

Cold weather's got me missing days like this ✌🏻 Nothing like a little challenge to get the blood pumping, I did pretty good for my first time! Always on the hunt for new ways to test myself—who’s with me? ! 💦 #GTFOutside #wakeboarding #summerindecember

lando: “the last thing i want is to make the excuse. in the end of the day, it's my job to drive whatever car i get to drive, whether it's a great one or a terrible one. i don't feel like i should ever have a reason to have an excuse. there's reasoning for things, why i struggle here, why i struggle there and so forth, but it's not an excuse. if i'm slow, i'll say i've just done a bad job and i wasn't a good enough driver on that day”

#poon_mit12 🐶: I want to tell you guys something. At first I kept thinking really hard about whether I should say it or not, because it might make things tense. But the image people have of me is.. the impression of me is that I'm the type of person who is like a chatterbox, right? But I actually think a lot. Lately, I've started to feel like when people don't know what else to tease me about, they just tease me by saying I talk too much or that I don't make any sense. But seriously, I actually do make sense. Sometimes, it's just for the vibe of the show. *starts speaking in English* I have days where I'm just totally exhausted. And to be honest, there are people who are much better at talking than I am, but that specific moment, when that (loud/talkative) image was what people remembered of me. There were people who were telling me to entertain and put on a show, as if I could be an MC. So, I went all out. But it turned out that from the very first day I went to GMMTV, I ended up looking like someone who talks too much. And honestly, deep down, I don't really like that. I feel like, why am I like that? And then I reflect on myself, asking whether I'm really like that or not. But when I think about it, in some parts where I'm comfortable, I really am like that. I do just ramble on and talk a lot but it's not all the time, everyone. Or sometimes people tease me like, 'Hey, can you stop talking yet?' even when I haven't said anything and I'm just sitting quietly. I feel like I don't really like that image people have of me today. But I don't intend to change who I am, either. I'll just think of it as being 100% myself. I just want everyone to understand that, actually, I also have moments where I might be a bit drained, or moments where I don't speak. If there's a day where I'm quiet, I'm totally fine, okay? And also, it feels bad for my own mental health. *starts speaking in English* The thing is, when I'm with my high school friends, I never have this kind of image at all. It wasn't until I came here and on the first day, I was like, 'Yeah, I'll entertain,' thinking deep down that it'd be good if I could become an MC or something. So now I just felt like, 'Why?' Did I mess something up? I'm afraid people will find me annoying, too. I'm actually campaigning for people to stop saying that 'I don't make sense' or that 'I talk too much,' because it can actually make me lose certain types of jobs. The idea that I don't make sense, I really don't like it. I don't want it to be like, 'Oh, when we're out promoting together and you don't know who else to tease, you just pick on Poon.' Whoa, seriously, I am a good kid. When it comes to work, I am incredibly focused.. but right now I have to hurry because I've only got 15 minutes to commute.

🎙️ It's #Fed day and the state of the US labor market will be at the heart of the rate debate. But if things are starting to look shaky why is the unemployment rate not rising faster? I get into it on this week's Reuters Econ World podcast. Watch now 👇
