“i’m staying positive, i’ve gone through being so disappointed with everything that’s happened this first half of the year and at one point you need to pick yourself up and accept there’s a lot of things out of your control that may work against you.” 🥲

Ben McCollum: “The benefit of me being at Division II is I’ve had the opportunity to work through positives and negatives. So I’ve made a lot of mistakes and we’ve done a lot of things right. And I didn’t have a lot of external noise while we were doing that. And then obviously we won a lot of games while we were making mistakes and while positives happened. Fast forward to this, that gives you a sense of confidence to build your roster because it’s like, we’ve built rosters. Obviously, this is the Big Ten – it is different. You need a little better player, a little bigger player, a little more physical player. But the attributes that you still want are still the same from a personality standpoint. Where you want tough kids, you want humble kids, you want guys that want to serve.”

Dusty May said, "A lot of failure comes with simply being afraid of the results. We were never afraid of the results." Let go of the outcomes and focus on what you can control. • Trust in yourself. • Trust in your preparation. • Trust in show up and doing the work

One of the most important lessons I’ve learned is to distinguish between what you can control and what you can’t. You’ll lead a much happier life if you’re able to focus your energy on the things you can influence — like how you treat others — and also learn how to adapt well to everything else. I’ve found that this perspective has provided me with a lot of equanimity.

This one is hard to admit. But a lot of you already feel it. You don’t trust yourself anymore. Not fully. Because you’ve made promises … and broken them. You’ve told yourself “this is the last time”… and repeated the same pattern. You’ve tried to change. You deleted accounts, content, and entire folders… but nothing really sticks. So now there’s a quiet voice in the back of your mind that says: “Can I actually rely on myself?” That’s the real damage. Not the behavior. The loss of self-trust. And the truth is: You don’t rebuild self-trust by thinking harder. Or feeling more dread and guilt. You rebuild it through evidence. Small wins. Repeated actions. Following through. Seeing yourself show up differently. That’s what changes you. That’s why the 14-Day Self-Command Reset works. It gives you structure so you can finally stop guessing and start proving to yourself that you’re capable of more. Because once you trust yourself again… everything changes.

.Sam Altman says the advice to pick one thing to build and pour all your focus into it no longer applies. "The canonical advice that was correct two years ago was, 'Pick one, and put all your effort into it, because you can't build all 30 things.'" "You can now build all 30 things. And you can get people to use them all. And you can work more on the ones that work." "So I think this mindset of lots of ideas, quick feedback, and being open to a lot of things not working is great for this new era for how people build."

How do I stay positive with all the chaos? Stop giving everything permanent residence in your head. That’s the mistake. Life is impermanent — even you are impermanent. The five-year-old version of you is gone. So is that the old version of the country. Marcus Aurelius understood this. So did Caesar Augustus. You’re here for a moment, playing a role on the world stage. Handle yourself well, don’t let outside noise hijack your spirit, and remember: none of us are getting out of here alive. Relax. Act with character. That’s the real win.

🎥 GM Kelly McCrimmon: A lot of things have to go right for your team to win. You have to be playing well at the right time, you have to have good health or be able to work your way through that. The year that we won, those things happened.

CNBC’s Joe Kernen: “There’s a difference between being a Zionist and being anti-Semitic. ‘I can be against the government of Israel, and I’m not being anti-Semitic.’ I’ve made the point that that’s just cover for… anti-Semitism.”

This Bible series is something I’ve felt called to do for a long time, and in a lot of ways, I feel like everything I’ve done up to this point has prepared me for it. I’m not a theologian or a scholar, I’m just someone trying to understand the Bible for myself, ask the questions I’ve always had, and hopefully bring some of you along with me on that journey. This one is deeply personal to me, and I’m excited to finally share it with you. Shawn Ryan Show

My new memoir, In My Darkest Hour. is out now. I wrote this book to tell the story of what happened when cancer forced me to face my own mortality, and what came out of it. There were long treatment days, a lot of questions, and a lot of things I had to learn about myself along the way. If you’ve been with me and Megadeth through the years, you know I’ve never been one to quit. This book is about that fight, but it’s also about finding the strength to keep moving forward when things get dark. I hope you’ll pick up a copy and take the journey with me. Thank you - Dave.

A day late, coz I took yesterday for myself and my inner child. And today, from the bottom of my heart, I wish each one of you that you have the most positive, happy and prosperous year. Just like the water and rice boiled out of all our pots yesterday, may your lives overflow the same and more with unconditional happiness. Reject procrastination, negative thoughts, and disbelief in you. Choose love, kindness, focus and respect first for yourself and then for one another. I’m going to do more - more work on myself, more work in the movies, and the most on sharing my heart with you guys this year. I stand truly grateful for all your love and respect despite everything I have been through this far, for all who are standing by me just with the mere trust of my truth, I will make sure I make you proud of the person my parents brought me up to be. Have a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious Pongal and all the days to come 🫂😊

HUANG RENJUN … 😭🤲🏻💭💦 🎤 A lot of fans say you’re someone who’s really good at noticing the little moments of happiness in everyday life. Do you have any small habits or methods that help you recharge quickly? Could you share them with everyone? 🦊 First of all, don’t put yourself down. Don’t keep telling yourself negative things or filling your mind with negative thoughts. Instead, give yourself positive affirmations and tell yourself that you’re the strongest! 💪🏻 「 I can do this. Don’t give up. Believe in yourself. 」 Even just saying these words out loud can unconsciously give you strength. So that’s one little method I’d recommend to everyone. 👍🏻 🦊 For example, whenever I’m walking home from somewhere, I’ll look up at the sky. ☁️ Then I’ll start thinking about everything that’s been happening lately and remind myself, 「The universe is so vast, and we’re so tiny. My worries probably aren’t even as significant as a speck of dust.」 When I think that way, I instantly feel much better. 🤲🏻

RFK Jr: I'm around a lot of young girls all the time, and they all seem, like, really crazy at that part of their lives. Most of them just get through it and figure it out. But if you put them on a regimen of psychiatric drugs at that age, they may not go through the things they need to go through

I asked Micah Parsons what it’ll feel like to take the field at Lambeau for the first time after coming back from his ACL injury: “It's going to be crazy. I just look forward to putting on a show. There’s a lot of aggression that’s built up right now, and there’s a lot of pain that I feel like I’m suffering that other people need to feel too.” Micah added, "Everything is leading up to that return date and getting back on the field. It's going to be all year. When the game gets taken away from you, it's a different level of mindset you come back with. I'm ready to see that person, and that player."
