I'm still astounded The Creator didn't make a bazillion dollars. It could be this generation's version of The Thing, a movie that doesn't exactly set the box office alight but people grow to love over time. I hope so, it certainly deserves it.

Great movie. Unfortunately, Denzel's son doesn't have the gravitas for lead man in blockbusters. I think Tenet (though not a great movie) suffered from this as well.

I think Tenet suffered from making no sense at all and an incredibly bad sound mix.

Pretty mixed on the film, but the bridge battle with the cheerfully explosive robots is incredibly well staged, dark, and hilarious.

Nope. Gareth Edwards is the master of... superficiality. All his movies are like that, lacking true depth. The Creator is no exception. Monsters is by far his best movie.

I watched this a few months ago. I really liked it, but was just a bit disappointed in the writing. It's worth watching just for the stunning visuals and SFX. Also, it's important to support original Sci-fi; there's not enough of it out there.

Couldn’t agree more. It’s up there with District 9, Sunshine. Seriously good, seriously under appreciated SciFi movies.
