Every civilization that ever looked at the stars and wondered if it was alone was standing on the answer. We didn’t build a thinking machine. We proved the universe was always capable of thought. It just needed one species curious enough to rearrange the sand.

You may not know this about me. During COVID I attempted for 3 years to build a bridge from the farm gate to the local town. We were the center of the plate of many local restaurants, as well as portioned controlled meats for major food distributors. We went from 6 to 46 employees 20k a month to 800k/month. But it didn't just take my 46... it took a constellation of other people filling in the gaps. Tearing it down was just as much work as building it. I am proud of where I stand now with everyone involved. I grew more with that storm. For a while I was embarrassed that I couldn't make this thing run forward. One day I decided to look at it from a different angle. I decoupled experience from failure. Today I want to facilitate whatever it takes to pick up the pieces of what I learned to help whoever it is that wants to be part of the change in direction. I don't want to own the damn thing. I want to find the missing pieces of the puzzle so we can build back better.

I understand why you shared the wishlist on Twitter. Many people don’t understand why you didn’t simply use the (BAGS) fees to solve this directly, but instead chose to let many people participate together. I believe this is a way for people to collectively remember Liv, and also the most sincere way to support the hospital that treated her. Our community just organized many people to work together to clear the wishlist, and I think it was truly meaningful. People from all around the world came together to do something as one — love for Liv from every corner of the globe ❤️ During the payment process, we encountered situations where some items became unavailable or insufficient in quantity. However, we were still able to purchase most of the items, and once the remaining products become available again, we will continue paying for the rest. Have you also experienced situations where some items could not be purchased due to stock shortages?

my two favorite people saying the same thing “just give it a try” 🥹 🦌: the most important thing is to just give it a try. i think the idea of taking that first step is one of the most important things in life 🦮: moments when we have to make big decisions can be scary, and i think that's completely normal. but the fact that something feels scary also means it’s a very important opportunity. that’s why i think it’s important to really think about what you want and then just give it a try. because if you don’t try, you’ll definitely regret it later on

Excuse me for breaking the wall and sharing personal🤟 I just turned 40, which brought about a wave of reflection, and I'm incredibly lucky. I make my morning commute like most, grind at a desk until 5, then I flip roles to becoming a podcaster, a writer, a coach, a husband, and a dad. Life is moving at warp speed. I'm not rested, but I'm not tired. I'm not polished, but I'm not giving up. I'm not content, but I AM happy. The support and friendships I’ve found in this space have genuinely made my life better. This road, where passion meets persistence, has been paved by so many of you, and I’m incredibly grateful for that. I hope I’ve come across as someone reliable. Someone who isn’t afraid to put in the work to keep improving. Someone who cares, connects with people, and takes this seriously. June 4th, 1994 our lives forever changed. We said, “I do!”. With those two words, we said, yes, to all the highs, the lows, and everything in between. God has blessed us with four absolutely amazing children who are now amazing adults, with their own best friends/significant others (that they’re doing life with), we have three incredible grandsons, and a beautiful granddaughter on the way. We’ve lived where we both grew up (on the East Coast), and have now been out here in San Diego for just over 11 years. We’ve gotten jobs (and lost jobs), we’ve had more times than we can count where we couldn’t make ends meet, even though both you and I were working two, and sometimes three jobs at a time, and we’ve been blessed in ways that we could’ve never dreamed of. We’ve watched both my parents pass on, and are now dealing with the overwhelmingly difficult challenge of seeing your parents struggle with their own health in ways that no one should have to go through. Through it all (even in the midst of the chaos), we’ve been blessed to be by each other‘s sides! I thank God for you every day, Jillian! I love our adventures together (the big ones where we fly to somewhere we’ve never been before, and the little ones where we hop in the car with no agenda, and just drive). I love when we find ourselves in deeper conversation, laughter, and tears of joy then ever expected, and in the moments of silence, where no words are even spoken, but when we’re together, just being where our feet are. As the world (as we know it), keeps getting crazier and crazier, let’s continue to keep Christ in the center of all we do, keep leaning on and lifting each other up when it’s needed, and keep living the lives that we have been so incredibly blessed to live together. I love you with all my heart Jillian. Happy 32nd (heading into our 33rd year), Anniversary.

This guy is losing his mind in traffic. He’s honking and screaming at the car in front of him to turn right. But the car in front of him not only has a red light, but where is it supposed to turn? Traffic is backed up and there is a truck right there. Many people said, “oh look, shocker, guy is in a Dodge Ram.”😂 Some said they would put their car in park and refuse to go. 💯 But, some did say there was one car length available and the car should have turned. 🤯 Yeah- people like this shouldn’t be driving. They need therapy. The car didn’t have the right of way. Where did he want the car to go? Should this guy be driving? Wouldn’t you think his rage would increase the risk of accidents? How would you deal with him if he was behind you?

The fourth edition of Ather Community Day is here! The idea behind these community days actually goes back to 2016. Back then, we were a startup without a product. We started Community Meetups as a way to tell our stories and, just as importantly, learn from our owners. Those conversations shaped not just how we talked about Ather, but what we built. As Ather grew, those meetups grew with us. In 2023, they became the first Ather Community Day with around 700 people. Last year, nearly 5,000 people joined us. While the scale changed, the purpose luckily hasn't. Community Day has always been where we share the thinking behind our products. The engineering decisions. The design trade offs. The details our teams spend months, and often years, obsessing over. Some of those stories might seem small. In 2024, we spent five minutes on stage talking about a storage box 🤯. Last year, we explained how we reinvented cruise control. Most product launches don't dwell on these details. Most product launches are not aimed at the customer at all. We do, because we believe they're what make the experience feel effortless. This year is a particularly important one for us. We'll unveil the first scooter built on our all new EL platform. Our biggest product launch yet. EL is our first all new vehicle platform since the original 450. We built it with a simple objective. Bring the Ather experience to a much larger audience without compromising on what makes an Ather, an Ather. It's our entry into the mass market scooter segment and the beginning of the next chapter for Ather. And EL is just one part of the story. We'll also share what's next across the Ather ecosystem and give everyone a closer look at some of the work happening inside our engineering and R&D teams. As I sit here in DC this week, we are closer to something I was not sure I would ever see. I have been working in this industry since 2015. For most of those years, the defining feature of crypto in Washington was not policy. It was the absence of it. A gray zone where serious people built serious things under a constant cloud, never quite sure which rules applied or whether the ground would move beneath them. This week the CLARITY Act sits on the Senate calendar. A federal framework for digital asset market structure, the thing this industry has wanted for the better part of a decade, is closer than it has ever been. It is not law yet, and there are real hurdles left. But the distance between where we stood a few years ago and where we are sitting today is hard to put into words. I keep thinking about the work that got us here. Over the past year I watched Chainlink move from outside these conversations to inside them. Sergey at the White House for the signing of the GENIUS Act. The Department of Commerce putting government economic data onchain. Meetings with the SEC that became real interpretive guidance. Conversations with the lawmakers now writing the rules. None of that happens by accident. It happens because people keep showing up, year after year, and make the case in rooms where it is not yet obvious. And there is something fitting in it. The entire premise of what we build is verification. Making truth provable. Removing the question of what is real. The work here in DC is the same thing in a different form. Trading a decade of ambiguity for something the industry has never actually had. We are not at the finish line. But sitting here, it is hard not to feel the weight of it. The gray zone is ending. What comes next is something this industry has never had. Clarity.

Conversations with the lawmakers now writing the rules. None of that happens by accident. It happens because people keep showing up, year after year, and make the case in rooms where it is not yet obvious. And there is something fitting in it. The entire premise of what we build is verification. Making truth provable. Removing the question of what is real. The work here in DC is the same thing in a different form. Trading a decade of ambiguity for something the industry has never actually had. We are not at the finish line. But sitting here, it is hard not to feel the weight of it. The gray zone is ending. What comes next is something this industry has never had. Clarity.

To everyone asking about our Jet engine project⚠️: As I said in my return speech🙏🏻, some unfortunate & unpleasant things happened to me that I've just survived I have not been as lucky as others may have been either I am just moving at the pace available to me & my team I am currently restructuring & rebuilding the major brand ZEDORA Working on making our pioneer products mainstream again Streamlining our operations etc This is not a toy⚠️ Aerospace projects of this scale cost alot of money ⚠️ We built systems from scratch Developed our own designs We have burned through a few millions already just to get to this stage of development Once we have the ability to start its R&D again, we will resume building in public as is our M.O I know many if u well wishers want to crowd fund for its development, I appreciate that, but matters that concern 'public money' are not as easy as it appears, one needs to be very very careful Yes we've actually tried to secure corporate funding for the expansion of the project, but there hasn't been any headway yet, raising capital for such an ambitious project especially from this part of the world is....... The project is still alive, but just offline for now, until the variables to continue pop up The goal of this project, with our successful prototype was to create indigenous gas turbines/engines for various applications, one of which is the aerospace aspect✅ We will be back to it soon... Horrendous. Heartbreaking news from Amsterdam. Is this what we have become? Modern day pogrom as we are remembering Kristallnacht. I am in Texas and it is middle of the night here as I write. Friends from Europe are texting and calling me about the horrendous situation in Amsterdam. In the night of November 7 in Amsterdam there were widespread and terrible raids on Jewish people. After the soccer game Ajax-Maccabi Tel Aviv, large groups of radical moslims violently attacked Jews, injured them, ran over them with cars… 💔 How is this possible? Why did it take the police so long to get there ? Even on European soil we fail to protect human dignity. Is this what we have become ? It's just terrible! Revolting! Imagine you are Jewish. And you know this: as soon as you walk out of your house to go running, go grocery shopping, go to school or to the synagogue, this can happen to you. How would you feel? I spoke about this situation of terrible discriminations this week in parliament. Worrying about antisemitism is not an exaggeration. Fighting it is our responsibility. The Dutch local government has failed. My thoughts are with the victims. I am furious with the Dutch local government. This is what we have become. Because we have forgotten that this violence is still possible if we are not honest, vigilant and decisive. If people who live in Europe are capable of this horrible attacks, it says a lot about how europe failed to impose its values even on its own soil. And there are still people who will think speaking of hatred against jewish people is an exaggeration. It is not. This is the week of the Kristallnacht commemorations. The man who helped build the digital world is now casually announcing that the people living in it might be optional. No panic. No apology. Just a quiet admission from someone who has never had to worry about being replaced. The scariest part is not the AI. It’s the ”we.” Who is ”we,” Bill? Because it is not the people whose jobs disappear next year. This is not a tech problem. It’s a power problem dressed up as progress. Confession from an England fan: there’s one thing in this whole US vs England war the Americans are just better at, and it’s time someone on our side said it. Not stadiums - Craven Cottage vs MetLife is two different conversations, 130 years of history and a billion-dollar engineering marvel can both be impressive. Not the football - England is the authority there, the most watched league in the world, where the stars play, same way the US is the authority on baseball whether or not they win the World Baseball Classic. It’s sports coverage. Any English sports fan who’s been to the States knows the feeling - wall-to-wall sport, endless channels, proper production, and you think: why don’t we have this? Even our players feel it. Marc Guehi in England camp this week: “Waking up, turning on the television and seeing ten sports channels in a row is top. It’s amazing.” And that’s exactly what CBS bottled. The best Champions League studio in the world is American-owned, European anchors - Abdo, Henry, Carragher, Richards - built by a producer who modelled it on Inside the NBA. They took the thing we envy about American sports TV and pointed it at our game. And it works better than our own product. The rest - the Tampa pitch outrage (it was a dodgy pitch), the USMNT record graphics (one knockout win ever, lads), the atmosphere wars (you like Coldplay concerts, we like limbs) - is noise. Let’s argue about something real instead... World War II.

Reading the comments on this post told me everything I need to know about art. So many of you wrote to say you felt the exact same thing I did standing in front of the Starry Night. That strange pull, the sense that the painting is somehow alive... It turns out the feeling is completely universal. I am not someone who gets emotional easily. But every so often a piece of art really gets to me. And that is exactly what happened the first time i walked up to Van Gogh's magnum opus. I know how that sounds, it is one of the most famous paintings on earth, almost a cliché to be moved by it. But maybe it is that famous for a reason... It genuinely looks like it is moving while you stand there, shifting in a way I cannot explain and have never seen in any of the thousands of paintings I have looked at in my life. The same day I took the photo below, I also filmed this short video. It still comes nowhere near the real thing, but you can at least catch a little more of it here, the thick ridges of paint, the way the stars and swirls lift right off the canvas. This technique is called "impasto", from the Italian for mixture. It means paint laid on so thickly that every brushstroke and ridge stays visible on the surface. Van Gogh piled it on with a loaded brush, building the stars up thick so they would blaze as bright as possible against the dark. But no video and no explanation of technique can really convey what it feels like to stand in front of it. And the fact that so many of you felt the very same thing says something true about what art is really for. Tolstoy said it best: "The receiver of a true artistic impression is so united to the artist that he feels as if the work were his own and not someone else’s, as if what it expresses were just what he had long been wishing to express. A real work of art destroys, in the consciousness of the receiver, the separation between himself and the artist. In this uniting of it with others lies the great attractive force of art."
