The celebration of that 2-1 goal to Norway last night, which got ruled out a minute later. At least we got to have the feeling for 45 seconds😂 Thank you! Norway will never forget summer of 2026. We never made it this far. And the vibes were amazing. England played well. Today I am proud that our team was able to keep up with them for long. We were so close. Until next time!

So, they've left little crumbs all over the episode that Alya will likely pull a fast one on Ciho and not let him be the donor. When Cihan calls Alya up to tell her about the reports, she asks him if he's still using his 'bugs' to watch her. He replies with a cocky 'No, because I know you well enough to be able to predict your moves now.' And Alya says, 'I wouldn't be so sure if I were you.' Then there's an elephant-sized crumb in the trailer when Cihan repeats the phrase 'I know you' and Alya once again negates that. Cihan reads Alya like a book in s1. In s2, we're seeing that happen with Alya. I genuinely cannot understand how someone can watch this story and still stand there, looking at two women, and somehow decide that the wrong one is the victim. On one side, you have a girl (Yıldız) who has been mistreated her entire life. Since the moment she was born, she was treated like a sacrifice for a conflict she was never even part of and later we find out that this conflict never even existed. Her right to study was taken from her. She was pushed into a marriage at a very young age just imagine being six, seven, eight years old, living in fear of being tied to someone you don’t even know. She was treated like a servant in her own home, by the very people she thought were her family. And just when she gets close to the happiness she dreamed of, the man she was engaged to shows up with another wife. She gets mistreated by that wife, by his family, and even (unintentionally) by him, because he was trying to run away from his own feelings, and that only caused her more heartbreak. The whole world was literally against her. She fought through all of that, only to find out in the end that everything she suffered for was based on something that wasn’t even real. Her entire life was built on a lie. That she isn’t even part of that family that she has literally no one in this world. Now on the other side… You have a girl (Melek) who, yes, was taken from her biological mother but she was raised by loving parents. She had everything anyone could wish for: education, freedom, a happy childhood, a healthy environment. She lived her life, fell in love, went out, made choices and no one questioned her, no one controlled her. And then what did she do? She found out that her man was engaged to another woman before marrying her (and even saw him marry her) and instead of holding on to her dignity, she chose to stay, to fight for a man who lied to her, to hold onto a marriage he tried to end multiple times. She used her unborn child to keep him tied to her. She lied constantly, and her excuse was that she was “protecting her marriage” a marriage that was already broken from the moment Serhat removed that ring at the airport in episode one. She tried to hand Yıldız (a woman who had already suffered enough) over to dangerous people. Then she found out the truth about her own birth (that her father ra*ped her mother.)And still no empathy. in the wise words of taylor swift, “a man is allowed to react, a woman can only overreact.” they cut the camera to her while she was still in shock & she took a sip of her drink. that is not even a reaction. this whole situation has blown out of proportion throughout the media. you’d think things would’ve gotten better for women in the past five years since she said this, but that’s not the case. this has made one thing abundantly clear, women are not allowed to react when they are blatantly disrespected. even if they don’t react, they’re still overreacting, since there is this perpetuating stereotype that women are “dramatic & emotional.” she’s just sitting there trying to enjoy her night that she was attending because of HER accomplishments & the records she broke with her movie about her life-changing, record-smashing tour. yet, she was only mentioned once, only ten minutes in, to be devalued to her relationship & to poke fun at the ways the media has been tormenting her for years. you can not tell me that is funny. she’s been through hell throughout her career, she’s heard these jokes a million times—she’s over it. she shouldn’t have to laugh at a joke that offended her to appease anyone. personally, i’m extremely proud of her for not feeling it was necessary to be a people pleaser & laugh, which is what she typically would’ve done int the past. that shows growth, that shows that she finally recognizes her worth. she finally realized that she doesn’t have to put up being painfully disrespected. she’s allowed to think a rude joke isn’t funny, it just made her uncomfortable. if she looks uncomfortable, it means he crossed the line, regardless of if you think it was funny or not. it’s evident that this was an under reaction. she kept her composure & responded to the situation perfectly. however, even though she responded perfectly, she’s still getting tremendous amounts of hate for this. this makes it abundantly clear that men in this society will always have it out for women who are successful—especially when that success was created all on their own, since women are not allowed to be successful in their eyes. that is blatant misogyny, just like the joke they think she is a horrible person for not laughing at. of course they think the joke was funny, they’re a bunch of misogynists themselves.

NHS nightmare update: After three days, my wife still hadn't received an ultrasound or an appointment for one, despite suspected deep vein thrombosis (DVT). She runs out of blood-thinner injections in a few days, but we were just told wasn't considered "Urgent" by the Radiology department, and hasn't been referred DVT clinic, despite the risk to her and the babies. We were told on Monday and Tuesday to expect a call from Scans that day, and to call back if we hadn't heard anything. We call back today, and the below is what we got before being passed onto the switchboard. (Excuse my disheveled appearance.) After being passed between departments, we called Maternity Triage again, and a kind English woman answered the phone, listened to everything that happened, and said she would call us back with news within half an hour. Five minutes later, she called back with a scan appointment for tomorrow morning, and immediate follow-up with Maternity. Couldn't have been more helpful. Hopefully we get to the bottom of this tomorrow, and she gets prescribed the treatment she needs to keep her and the girls safe. In the meantime, my Nan has been taken into hospital and kept overnight for complications related to her chronic blood cancer. It's treatable, but not curable, and by all accounts she's being well attended to. A stressful time for the Tomlinsons. Thanks for all your prayers and support.

Alan Jackson just asked his own witness in the John O'Keefe and Karen Read re-trial if the witness was worried Alan would "tear her a new a******" if the witness wouldn't lie for Read's defense on the stand. "I don't remember you saying THAT!" the witness said, "but you are trying to tear me a new one, which is what I said." Earlier, on direct, Jackson's witness told jurors AJ threatened her with criminal charges if she would not lie for the defense on the stand. I cannot believe this is happening. This is why you never call a witness to the stand on direct when you don't know the answer to their questions ahead of time. I am devastated right now. Tuesday, Ope Ola Grace called my attention to a woman who she saw at Sweet Sensation, OPIC Abeokuta with a child who appeared visibly malnourished. When I went even o check, she was no longer there. I finally got the chance to go see her moments ago and I met the baby like this. I don't know what to do. I'm thinking the worst but this woman is still holding on to the child that she's sleeping. Tried telling her to follow me to the hospital, but she refused. I have called the Commissioner for Women Affairs, and she's on her way to meet us here.

This woman rented an Airbnb while in Portugal. She’s from the states and is used to turning the key to the right to unlock the doors. However when she tried doing this here, it wouldn’t work because you use to turn the key to the left. Other people are criticizing her and blaming her for not knowing how to open a door. But as with many things when going abroad, we don’t think about something as simple as that. Should the owner have at least showed her how to do it knowing she’s not from around there?

How did that #Corrie episode today turn into Lisa hate? I'm so confused by what she's done this time. The reactions in both scenes are that of any other loving mother, It hurts them more than us when we fly the nest, I think more so if it's an only child. Lisa is a copper, she sees all the bad in the world, which will always be at the forefront of her mind. Shes well aware of what can happen in a big city like London. Her worries are valid, it doesn't make her any less happy for Betsy and her achievement but there was always going to be reservations. For Lisa she is a mother first and foremost who loves her kid more than life itself.
