A guy built a playable game with Claude Fable 5 in a couple of hours. A studio would have needed a team, six months, and a budget that would buy a car. He didn’t have a team. He didn’t have six months. He didn’t have the budget. He had a laptop and a model that shipped 4 days ago. He says one prompt got him a working prototype. A few hours of back and forth got him a playable level. Mechanics that work. Art that loads. Sound that triggers. A game his friends actually wanted to keep playing. It’s not the best game ever made. It doesn’t have to be. It’s the cheapest game ever made by a single person that’s actually fun. The studio model assumed you needed 20 people to do this. Fable 5 just made that assumption look expensive. Most devs are still arguing about which model to use. He shipped a game while they argued. Save this. The next indie hit might be made by a kid who’s never opened Unity.

My experience as a Defenders fan going to STL America's Center & The Dome for an away game. This was a solo trip, did not bring my family on this one. The St. Louis Battlehawks home games truly are one of the special environments for United Football League. I’ve been to 4 AWAY games for DC Defenders over the last 12 months and the environment for this one was fired up! They definitely should NOT move STL to a soccer stadium if they keep showing out like they did yesterday. I got to my hotel at 1AM on game day after a late flight from the west coast. I woke up 6 hours later, walked towards the stadium and randomly caught the STL player walk-ins. Then, I walked over to the tailgate and met up with The Bottom Line and enjoyed some mimosas and breakfast burritos with Ed Ploeger and his gang. Thanks for the hospitality! I was able to get him a signed Sam Kidd jersey as a thanks for all he does for the UFL community! After the tailgate, got in for gate drop at 0930, and went straight down to the field. I was able to say hi to a few players and talk with Steven McCrane as his son was nailing 50+ yard field goals with ease. Chatted up and made peace with a few STL fans around me. Once the game started, they had the place LOUD, and my watch kept alerting me that my hearing was getting damaged 🤣 . Being there for the first ever 4 point field goal by Matt McCrane made the travel worth it. After the home fans had a few rounds of beers, the heckling began (which was expected), but I had to pop about 6 beach balls/🎈 as I became the 🎯 for drunk fans as the only DC fan in the section. I tossed the balls back a few times until I immediately got hit with about 3 balls in a row. So that part was a bit of a let down, as I was just trying to enjoy a game. The halftime show was great. Overall, the game experience itself left something to be desired with the penalties and getting harassed by fans who were clearly recording trying to get rage bait engagement on 🎥. Probably won’t be going back to a STL game again, but I’m glad got to check it out! Pregame/Tailgate: 5/5 Halftime: 5/5 Game experience: 3/5 Getting to/from stadium: 5/5

So here’s how serious I am about The 26th Amendment to the United States Constitution (my right to vote) Because of work obligations and I wouldn’t have the time to travel. I started this process months ago. I applied for the Absentee Ballot, had to re-register to vote, completed some forms and mailed for verification. Received the ballot by mail. I knew ChineyK was traveling and I wanted to ensure they got to the polling station in time. So she had to drop them off at the UPS for me yesterday. This election is too important to NOT vote. It’s too important to NOT let my vote count. It’s too important to come up with excuses. It’s too important to put our future in someone else’s hand. Go out and VOTE. If your state is offering early voting, find a station and do so. If not, ensure on November 5, you do what’s right 💙 🇺🇸

Naomie Aliza Bikhar, 23 A French-Israeli citizen She was murdered by Hamas terrorists at the Supernova music festival on Oct 7. This is her story: She attended the rave alongside her boyfriend, Oz Ezra, who was also slain that day. The pair tried to flee the onslaught of terrorists, and Oz was shot in the shoulder but continued to run for safety. At the Shaar Hanegev junction, Naomie was killed by a group of terrorists while on a video call with her friends. She was buried in Ashdod on October 9. She is survived by her mother, Simona, and her siblings Livnat, David, Noa and Aviv. Born in France, she and her family moved to Israel when she was 13, following the death of her father, Jacky, according to a eulogy posted on the Ashdod municipal website. The family settled in Ashdod, where she attended religious schools After finishing school, Naomie followed her older sister Livnat into the world of cosmetology, after years of practicing on her friends. Her family said she loved to travel, loved parties and raves — where she met Oz — and was always singing and dancing. Her childhood friend, Eliahu Cohen, wrote on Instagram that he wanted to thank Naomie “for being a huge part of my life, not a day went by when we wouldn’t meet up and spend time together, there wasn’t a day when you didn’t make me laugh so hard it hurt.” Eliahu wrote that he misses “arguing with you about songs” in the car, getting coffee together, how she would send him his horoscope every morning. “Thank you for turning everywhere we went into one big adventure, from Mexico to Greece or even just going to the mall,” he added. “Thank you for lighting up my life and always giving me the best advice, thank you for always lifting my spirits with your crazy joy for life, that you had until your last moments. Perennial Basel VIP goers walked a fair booth after booth of what is honestly repetitive “trad” art and then BOOM, they’re instantly stimulated by the masterfully organized Zero to 10 exhibition. They’re hit with the largest crowd they never expected, many of which was anchored by 50-100 crypto friends rekindling, and ready to lend their knowledge to explain the works in front of them like they’re the artists. Speaking to Scott Winkelmann (beeple bro) about how incredible it was to see all the smiling faces videotaping Regular Animals. He mentioned 50+ inquiries for buying one (they sold out before i walked in). It will be the most viral piece in all of Art Miami. ⚔️ Kingdom Come Deliverance first impressions ⚔️ Loving it so far, basically a medieval detective simulator that really doesn't care that you are the main character. And I'm all here for it. ▪️The WORLD is the real star of the show here and even though it's got plenty of jank and lots of copy and paste NPC faces, it just feels so IMMERSIVE. Even the UI just transports me to the times with a bright colourful medieval art style. ▪️The MUSIC I love, absolutely sells the world and basically ASMR as you trot around on your horse through the world. ▪️THE Combat is a real interesting one, it's got quite the learning curve which I actually LIKE, it definitely has some jank to it as well but I really appreciate the attempt at an original and nuanced combat system. (Having to stop your bleeding with bandages is really cool) ▪️The Story has gripped me (19 hours in so far) And while it seems a simple revenge story on the face of it, I think the story is more about Henry making his way through the world after the horrors of Skallitz. The writing quality is top notch as well as the quest design also. ▪️The CHARACTERS are amazing and the humour is top notch. I'm not sure the last time I laughed so much at a game. Henry is great and so well voiced by Tom McKay This really feels like Warhorse Studios have put a lot of love and work into making an authentic medieval world and as a bit of a medieval nerd I can't get enough of this game. A True RPG as well by all accounts, the game really makes me think hard about how to approach situations. Also I can't wait to get to KCD2.
