It's just a plain and simple sugar addiction. During her lifetime she'll very likely get hooked to coffee and Maybe tobacco and alcohol as well.

OH MY GOSH! We took my 2 kids to Disney Land, popped for the breakfast early entry. The English couple 2 tables over thought I was a horrible mother. Daughter crying over fish sticks for breakfast. FRENCH TOAST STICKS! She was 5 32 years ago.
