I'm thinking one tangible use case for this notes app will be for interior designers to keep client mood boards with annotated photos, long notes, to do lists, meeting notes and short scribbles - all together in the same space.

Tobias This is fucking gorgeous

Thank you Sharif 🙏

this is awesome! what stack is this built on?

It's pretty much just AppKit and regular ol' Swift.

This is the kind of spatial thinking note apps should enable. Especially for visual-heavy roles like interior design or brand strategy, context switching kills flow, this keeps it all in one canvas.

really beautiful work here.

thanks man, much appreciated. physicality for president ✌️

if you’re ever wanting to conceptualize some app iconography for this, pop me a DM — I think I’ve got a few cool ideas

hell yes, would love that 💕 thinking I might call it "Scratch" btw, as in scratch pad/scratch notes

Damn, this looks amazing. Good job on nailing the animations and the design in general! I think it's been a while since I saw such a cool showcase video ^^

Tank you Sebastian, makes me happy to hear

It’s been a while since I’ve seen an app navigate around so smoothly.

Tobias, stop being so limited. The beauty of this app it could be anything for anyone. Gorgeous implementation

Thank you, that's kind of you to say

@round Phenomenal

Do you want to build UI for my App 🤣 ? It is a collect-content-let-it-self-organise-thing and I actually had a "collectors-card"-theme in mind for it =D (no worry, I know you do your own thing here) Awesome work 👍👍👍

Thank you, this is looking really slick Nikolaj!

🙏

@floguo butter 🧈

I could use it. it’s how my mind works. more visual. i never liked or found the folder-based navigation useful. great work!!!

Where can I throw an email in for waitlist? My wife will for sure want this.

Hey ben, you can DM me, or throw it in here 👉

Done!

🙌

The use case is me. Shut up and take my money!

Pleenty of use cases, no worries about that Tobias! My mind works like this and I’ve been missing something like this for ages. Something that will enable me to quickly zoom in and out of a topic: product design, trip planning or other type of research, journaling, vision board…

Incredible work 🔥

Thank you!

Fwiw, if some of those cards could be webpages - it could be very interesting way of organizing external stuff for projects

yep good shout - was planning on giving that shot. at least screen grabs of webpages that can then be opened to a live rendering should be doable

I could imagine that it’s a cover image, but when opened up it’s actually scrollable, but still have space for the notes/meta data

Exactly, yep. Very good idea

this is beautiful

Definitely check out for inspiration, similar concepts. Really great stuff!

Dawg, I'd use this without any usecase, it's so pretty.

😂 Thank you

this looks incredible, is it made in swift?

It is, yep. Appkit.

AppKit is Apple's framework for building graphical user interfaces (GUIs) in macOS apps. It's part of the Cocoa API, used with languages like Swift or Objective-C to create windows, buttons, menus, and more. It's been around since the NeXTSTEP days and is key for native Mac software development.

everything is so good about this

Are you envisioning this as part of mymind, or a separate product entirely?

This is insanely cool and I would LOVE an app like that.

Incredible work! Feels like purposeful beauty

@eddiejiao_obj

I’d love to try this as well. Looks slick

what are you using for the palette color? a package or custom code?

It's a custom little algo

What framework are you using to make this?

It's all app kit, native Mac OS

Awesomeness.

chaos organized into vision ✨ every sketch holds tomorrow's reality. designers are just architects of dreams with better color palettes

WOW, that's my dream design

Gosh I'm really hoping there will be a windows/web version

it's soo smooth!!!

you know your design execution is insane when you get 40k+ views on a notes app. please release this asap!

Would love to try it

this looks so promising wow
