I’m throwing an open challenge to the Trinamool supporters backing Ritabrata Panthi. Let Trinamool workers from every corner of Bengal come to Brigade Ground. Divide the field into two sides with a rope, and the numbers on either side will speak for themselves. Everyone will see just how many... show more

Those who have suddenly jumped ship claiming they want to serve the people of Bengal must answer a few simple questions. How many of our workers, arrested on false and politically motivated charges, did they help secure bail for? How many families, devastated by the violence unleashed by BJP West Bengal after the elections, did they stand beside and support? How many times did they raise their voice when our workers were harassed, attacked and persecuted? The truth is simple: those who abandoned the party did not just betray Trinamool Congress - they betrayed our foot soldiers, the hardworking men and women who stood firm through every challenge. Our workers never abandoned them. THEY ABANDONED OUR WORKERS.

Victory is Certain! Smt. Mamata Banerjee has assured every leader, party worker, booth agent of the Trinamool Congress, and the Maa-Mati-Manush of Bengal that the Trinamool Congress is returning for a historic 4th term. Bengal refuses to bow to the Bohiragotos of Delhi and Gujarat, who seek to subjugate a people whose soul they can never understand. Didi has urged every citizen to maintain peace and harmony during this crucial time. But let it be known that the account will be settled. Every act of wrongdoing against our people, every overreach, and every heavy-handed tactic by the BJP and their Central Forces will be answered. Once the results are in, every transgression will be paid for in full through the ruthless power of the democratic process.

#WATCH | Kolkata, West Bengal: After the meeting with TMC chief Mamata Banerjee, TMC leader Sudip Bandyopadhyay says, "Mamata Banerjee has explained how the total election was rigged, destroyed, looted and how she was also tortured inside her polling counting station, even her identity card was also torn up. All the MPs are now committed to taking the initiative. They will stand beside the workers of the party. Thousands of workers have left their homes... We are all very strongly united to see that this type of hooliganism, which is now very much actively penetrating up to the grassroots level, that is to be stopped, and MPs will have to take a stand of their own..."

#WATCH | Kolkata: On the Court order in their Favour of using the Trinamool Congress's Name and Symbol, West Bengal Leader of the Opposition (LoP) Ritabrata Banerjee says, "Yesterday, regarding our Trinamool Congress ground-level workers—following the special session on June 22nd where the National Working Committee was formed and Arup Roy was appointed its chairperson—it was observed that certain individuals were creating unwanted situations and causing trouble at party offices across Bengal. Consequently, ground-level Trinamool workers filed a suit... The order restrains any individuals—whether agents, servants, associates, or anyone claiming through them—from representing themselves as office-bearers of the party. Specifically, they are restrained from interfering with the party's administration, issuing directions or appointments in the party's name, handling the party's records, funds, bank accounts, or properties, and communicating with constitutional or statutory authorities on the party's behalf... The National Working Committee elected during the special session on the 22nd is the sole body authorized to administer the affairs of the All India Trinamool Congress. This implies that we are the Trinamool Congress..."

Speaking to a huge crowd of Garvaghy Road residents and supporters who have gathered in solidarity with them outside the Courts in Belfast. Sinn Féin and the people of Ireland will stand side by side with the Garvaghy Road community. We will stand resolute in defence of their right to live free from sectarianism and intimidation.

Crossing all limits of political and constitutional propriety, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today, while sitting in the state secretariat, Nabanna, openly threatened that if SIR is conducted in Bengal, it would lead to riots and “many other things.” She went even further, wishing death upon a so-called “Mir Jafar” sitting in Delhi. She did not hesitate to malign the institutions of the Government of India. The only remaining source of hope and support for West Bengal’s Trinamool Congress now lies in illegal infiltrators from Bangladesh and Rohingyas. It is their votes that keep the Trinamool in power. Mamata Banerjee knows very well that if the voter list becomes transparent, no genuine Indian will vote for the Trinamool.

#WATCH | Kolkata, West Bengal | TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee says, "This is a political vendetta. I want to tell the BJP that you are so afraid. You claim that the Trinamool has lost. If the Trinamool has indeed lost, then why is there such fear that you feel the need to break the party apart? Why the need to tear down office billboards? Why the need to implicate Trinamool party members in false cases? Why such fear? You are poaching Trinamool MPs and MLAs. We will take this matter all the way to the High Court and the Supreme Court. BJP leaders might feel that their time has come and that people will accept whatever they do... If the BJP has the mettle and the strength, let them try to stop the Trinamool. A section of the police and cadres is colluding with the BJP to appease them. We have seen individuals arriving without uniforms, ID cards, badges, or any police insignia, wearing plain clothes, posing as BJP cadres, to break the TMC board. We have already filed a petition in the High Court regarding the dismantling of the Trinamool board here. The hearing is scheduled for tomorrow. The Trinamool Congress will pursue this matter from the High Court to the Supreme Court, and we will ensure the suspension of every single official who acted against the Constitution to appease the BJP. Let us see whether the power of the Constitution is more or the BJP's."

Those who were once banished from their own home state and declared ‘tadipar’ are now coming to Bengal and openly threatening our people to stay indoors on 23rd and 29th. Following their leader’s cue, BJP’s লেঠেল বাহিনী is going door-to-door, terrorising ordinary citizens and threatening Trinamool Congress workers. It has come to my notice that these goondas barged into the residence of a Trinamool Congress supporter in Sabang, Sathi Gorai Kuila, and abused and intimidated her in the presence of her two-year-old daughter. BJP, drunk on arrogance, seems to believe that bullets and terror can achieve what ballots cannot. But Bengal has the perfect antidote. And that antidote will be administered democratically, by the people themselves. I openly challenge the Bangla-Birodhi Bohiragotos to be here, in Bengal, on the 4th of May, when that happens. There will be Rabindrasangeet. There will be DJ music. Make sure you don’t miss it.

Bengal is the land of harmony, where unity across all faiths has always been our guiding light. Over the past decade and a half, under our Maa-Mati-Manush Sarkar, families across the state have found greater stability, well-being and prosperity. Free food, quality education and accessible healthcare have reached every corner, strengthening the bonds of trust between the people and their Government. The massive turnout at today’s public meetings in Maynaguri, Dabgram–Phulbari and Matigara–Naxalbari is a resounding message from the people. They stand firmly with Trinamool Congress and are ready to give a decisive reply to the unholy nexus of BJP, CPI(M) and Congress. The zamindars sitting in Delhi continue to spread lies and misinformation to malign Bengal’s progress. I strongly condemn these baseless campaigns of distortion and division. The people of Bengal will not tolerate such malicious attempts to break our unity. They will respond through the power of democracy, with their votes. I am confident that the people will bless our candidates with an overwhelming mandate and decisively reject every conspiracy hatched by the Bangla-Birodhi forces. Joy Bangla! Trinamool Congress Zindabad! Maa-Mati-Manush Zindabad!
