Champ spidey here. You’re doing yourself a disservice by not learning venom first. He’s the only character in the game with similar spidey mechanics ( swing bhop wall crawl) try venom first (IN QP) and invest some time into him. Then when you swap to spidey you’ll at least be familiar with his movement. Mastering spidey requires EXTENSIVE game knowledge. You must know that certain comps are legitimately UNDIVABLE and by forcing him into these comps you’re legit THROWING. I don’t believe in playing a character competitively that you aren’t comfortable with. 200 hours on spidey and you have combos on sticky notes?? That’s a sign that you SHOULD NOT play him in comp. If you can’t carry in qp you will never carry in comp. That’s the reality of it. LEARN OTHER CHARACTERS AND HOW THEY INTERACT WITH SPIDER-MAN. LEARN WHEN TO DIVE AND WHEN NOT TO. ALLL OF THESE THINGS YOU WILL LEARN ON VENOM BUT VENOM WILL ALLOW YOU TO MAKE MISTAKES BECAUSE HES GOT 1khp

Respectfully, I would switch to someone easier if I start going negative in ranked. I understand Spidey probably is your favorite hero, but try to get better with him in QP first before taking him to ranked. You’ll get there. I wasn’t confident in my Bucky even though I’m almost Lord with him, but just keep practicing in QP with Spidey until you’re confident in your ability with his kit and getting good picks. 🩵

If you want actual tips/pointers/some practice I'm happy to help! That being said, looking at the team results for that game showed that it wasn't just you. Your entire team was underperforming and they wanted to use you as an excuse. Genuinely the only person that looks like they went positive on your team was your tank (or whoever that top person was). And while results screens don't tell the whole story, it does give insight into how everyone performed.
