I'm venturing further down the rabbit hole for David Gallagher aka Graven aka Riku's VA streams because goddamn, hearing Riku voice these lines from Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories is honestly surreal. Riku's "ha ha" laugh, I'M DED 😭

Marc Andreessen: "I'm reading every spare minute that I have" Expanding on his information diet, the a16z cofounder says AirPods have been the single biggest technological leap: "They're the unlock for me for audiobooks, podcasts, and interviews. I'm doing audio content probably 2-3 hours per day -- getting up in the morning, going to bed at night, all the drive time . . . If nothing else is going on, I'm always listening to something." Text-to-speech has also been an unlock with apps like Substack, NaturalReader, and Apple's audiobooks -- "It sounds spectacular," Marc says, "[AI voice technology] is really starting to work." Marc uses podcasts and YouTube interviews to go down rabbit holes on topics, but otherwise he's trying to get back to audiobooks: "I try to get back to audiobooks as much as possible, and the reason is audiobooks are my opportunity to really learn a new area that I probably don't know anything about. And so if I can scrape aside 10-20 hours of audio time for a period of history or something like that, I can really go deep on it." Marc generally tries to barbell his information intake: "It's either stuff that's super current or it's stuff that's timeless. I'm basically trying to not read anything that's from yesterday through like 10 years ago. I'm trying to be super current, and the form of being super current is talking to people who are currently experts or it's Twitter. Then for timeless, that's almost all books, but I kind of go back and forth between these modes." He continues: "I'm either listening to a book that's usually on history or a biography or something like that or some new domain that I'm trying to learn. Or I'm up to the minute on what's happening in AI today." source: David Perell (2023)

DEEP THOUGHTS from Scott Adams and Naval on Singularity Theory and the nature of consciousness. Naval: I try not to go too much in the supernatural, but I'll be honest, there are times when I've prayed. (Ha, ha, ha, ha.) Scott: Can't hurt! Naval: Nobody's perfect! Yeah, exactly. Pascal's wager, right? Just in case! Scott: Yeah, I've got a version of this. I don't know if I've ever said this out loud before, but every now and then I just talk to the creators of The Simulation that are watching me -- because it might be me . . . . Naval: Yeah, exactly! No, I completely agree. Yes, if simulation hypothesis is true, then, you know, God or creator or master programmer has your best interest at heart. Scott: I say things like, you know: "Is this the plan? I mean, are you really going to do this thing?" Naval: Exactly. Exactly. No, yeah. Like, “don't take me out of the game too fast.” Like, “you need some resource if you want me to be effective, right?” Or like, “I'm not Job. Don't try me. I'll fail.” (Ha, ha, ha, ha.) “Let's not go through. Let's not take that route. Let's try a different one.” Yeah, I think everybody does that. Because at the end of the day, existence itself is an unexplained miracle! Like how did we get here? Why am I here? Why am I a monkey? Why am I three dimensional? Why am I male? Why am I talking to you right now? What does it even mean to talk, right? The whole thing is so surreal that there is an instantaneous and overarching miracle of just consciousness. Like why even be conscious? Why not just be like zombies or robots talking to each other, going through the same actions? Why even be aware? So, there's so much here that you just have to take axiomatically -- and that is spirituality. And I think your spirituality, your current religion, is a Simulation Hypothesis. It's perfectly valid, you know. Mine is probably closer to the Tao and, you know, other people's Christianity or whatever, but somehow, you have to explain this miracle of existence. And everyone has to do it in their own frame. But the rest is science, right? The rest is all -- follows the rules of science. And so, what I don't like is when like someone says: “This one, I'm correct, it's scientific, you should believe it because of these following arguments.” And then I'm like: “Okay, well, what are the implications? How do we test it?” If you want me to believe in the real world, it has to be scientific, which means it has to be testable. There's a third category that I will accept, which is direct experience, but it's only valid for you. So, if you have a direct experience of something, you can hold it, but your ability to convey it is zero, because everybody has their own experience and you can't take anybody else's experience at value. Scott: I'll give you that. I'm gonna give you that my personal experience is so bizarre that -- I mean, it's not, I don't think it's quite Elon Musk level, but I mean, you've got your own life that's kind of, doesn't match. Naval: Yeah, very surreal. Yeah. Scott: I mean, how do the three of us exist? Is this really – like, there's so many things in my life that happened, and I'm sure you have the same feeling, where you just say, how is this real? I mean, just how is this real? Naval: If you want to talk absolute truth, and nothing else, the only statement that you can make that is absolutely true is that – what’s that? Go ahead. Scott: I know where this is going. Naval: Sorry. What's yours? Scott: It's that we exist. To ask the question. That's the only thing you know. Naval: It's actually even worse than that! (Ha, ha, ha, ha.) I used to say it was I exist and then a very smart friend of mine corrected me and he said, no, awareness exists. You don't even know that you exist. Your thought, like yes, your current thought exists and you're aware of that current thought, but what is the you that is having that thought? That's the whole Buddhist question, the whole enlightenment question. Is there a persistent self-identity other than just thoughts that are referring to each other? Like when you look for yourself, you're not actually there. There's an awareness. The awareness exists, but the you separate from that awareness, does that even exist? Brad Reese, the grandson of the founder of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, says he’s talked to workers at the Reese factory He says the ingredients have been changed and the new compounds are so bad, they are actually “gumming up the machinery” and making production lines close “Reese's no longer tastes like Reese's. Now I'm hearing from Hershey employees and they're validating everything. I'm saying's really interesting is the equipment at the Reese plant — which was the plant my father and my uncles built. Well, that plant is built for milk chocolate, and the compound coatings are gumming up the machinery. Oh goodness. So the production lines, the production lines are closing down. And when you've got a production line down, you're costing you millions of dollars” “So here they're using this cheap compound ingredient, okay to save a buck, but is causing their equipment to crash because that equipment is designed for milk chocolate” Hershey announced on April 1, 2026, that it will shift back to its “classic” milk chocolate and dark chocolate recipes starting in 2027 HOWEVR The changes affect a small portion (reported as about 3%) of the product line. Mainly newer, seasonal, shaped, mini, or specialized items Hershey’s claims their flagship products (standard Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and classic Hershey’s chocolate bars) have not changed according to the company (this is very clearly a lie, so who knows if they will revert back to the original recipes)

Pro-freedom activists descend on London ahead of Tommy Robinson's 'Unite The Kingdom' rally By the time you see this video, I'll have made my way to London, England, where Tommy Robinson (Tommy Robinson 🇬🇧) is hosting his second Unite The Kingdom rally on May 16. You might be wondering why I'm releasing this video only after I've arrived in London. It's because under Prime Minister Keir Starmer's socialist government, free speech in England is under attack like never before. People are being punished for what they say, what they post, what they question. There have been tens of thousands of arrests for non-violent speech over the last 10 years. And now, ahead of Tommy Robinson's Unite The Kingdom rally, Starmer's government is going even further by banning supposed “far-right agitators” from travelling to the country. Several supporters and speakers, including politicians from other European countries and even Rebel News' very own Avi Yemini, have been denied entry into the U.K. The government says this march is meant to “intimidate” the country's diverse communities — but that's not what the rally is about at all. Tommy Robinson's event is about free speech; it is about people who are tired of being ignored, tired of being censored, tired of being demonized for raising legitimate concerns about mass immigration, public safety and the future of their country. It's a problem that is happening across the West — mass immigration, weak borders, rising tensions, communities changing rapidly and political leaders who refuse to listen to their own people. Instead of listening to these concerns, they attack the people asking the questions. They call them extremists, they call them dangerous, and they try to silence them. People are waking up and saying enough is enough. In the U.K., Starmer's support is collapsing. We saw it in the local elections, where his Labour Party suffered a massive defeat. I'll be in London to get the real story, from the streets, hearing from the people who are actually there. Stay tuned for more at REPORT by Alexandra Lavoie:

EVAN'S WORDS TO EVERS MADE ME EMOTIONAL 😭🤍 🐹 : anyway, this is all thanks to EVERs, actually. EVERS have given me so much support, and i also know that you worked incredibly hard for my digital single. that's why i want to give all of this back to EVERS. i truly feel that way from the bottom of my heart, and i'm deeply moved. 🐹 : honestly, right after making my debut, receiving three awards on music shows is not something that happens easily, right? but EVERS made it possible for me to achieve that. first of all, i am so, so grateful and overwhelmed by those things. because honestly, winning an award on a music show like that is not an easy thing. so actually, i know that only the top artist and the one who wins through voting can receive those two awards during each broadcast, and one of them was me. i am truly grateful for those things. 🐹 : just like what you guys might think, i am trying my best not to lose my original mindset. i keep reminding myself of that. i approach everything with the mindset of starting over again. i don't know how much of these feelings reach you, but i could really feel it through EVERS' support. that's why i'm so grateful to EVERS, and i always hope that this gratitude is successfully delivered to you. yes. so, i am trying to put all my effort into doing everything within my power. thank you so much, our EVERS! i might be the only one clapping right now, but i'm going to clap anyway. let's clap! (claps) 😭😭😭😭😭😭 #EVAN #에반 #HEESEUNG #희승

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT 🚨 Man comes forward: HE WAS PAID $150 PER DAY TO PROTEST IN THE LA ICE RIOTS This is highly organized. Entire warehouses are rented out, huge lines of people singing contracts TO BE PAID TO PROTEST In the warehouse there were people MAKING EXPLOSIVES “I was tricked into being an active participant in this peaceful protest, AKA race riots that are going on in Los Angeles. And I know I'm going to get in trouble because talking about it is against the contract I signed, which should have been the first red flag, but I got to tell my side of the story. So my brother's lived in Los Angeles for the past three years, and I was down there for about a week visiting. Well, around night five or six, he told me that he's going to go do something tomorrow and he's going to make some money. So I inquired, well, what do you got to do? I want to make some money, too. So he's like, yeah, bro, you can come with me. And I don't know all the details about what we're going to be doing yet, but I'm getting paid $150 a day to essentially protest something in a peaceful manner that is protected by the Constitution. I said okay I'm coming. So morning time rolls around, we get ready and we go. We pull up to the address. Now, the address is like a warehouse. I'm like, whoa, bro, I did not sign up to work a factory job. He goes, I promise, this is not that. Just come inside. So as soon as you enter the doors of this place, you are now in a line. And at the end of the line, there's a desk, and there's a piece of paper and a pen and a guy standing at this desk. And I'm noticing. I'm peeking ahead in line, and I'm noticing that he's having guys sign things, and then he's handing them an envelope. I said, great, that must be the money. So after I signed the papers and I grabbed the envelope, I now entered into the next dimension of the warehouse. Now, the next dimension of the warehouse, it looked like preparation for a peaceful protest. I mean, there's sunscreen, there's water bottles. But if you do a little further, you realize that this is gonna be anything but peaceful. So I look a little further past the water, past the sunscreen, and I see something that resembles rudimentary explosive making. And, you know, I nudged my brother like, bro, look at this. Y' all so chill. Don't worry about that. Come on. So then we head to the back door where everyone was exiting out of. And now they're handing everybody a Mexican flag as they exit this building. And I grab it. I'm looking at him like, man, I'm a Republican. But I definitely can't tell them that now. Like, I'm committed to the bit. And after that, the rest is history. You've seen what happened all over the news. I'm just glad I made it out okay.”

🌟ANNOUNCEMENT🌟 'KOUNTER KLOCKWISE' - A full Ouro Kronii community fansong EP is in the works from RiKU's WUNDERLaND! My server got together to write a bunch of songs for Kronii's birthday this year, releasing in a couple of weeks time! BUT we really need your help!! We're looking for 2 things: 1) Animators 2) Financial support for distribution For 1) - We are looking for animators to help finish up the MV for lead single "Your Time Has Come" - an original Kronii VS Ame WUNDER RiKU fansong with features from Zephyrianna 🐦💫 StarlightDaryl 🎵✨🔭 VTuber Composer 사기 🐇🖤 mention after DM and animation lead by the team behind Chrono Gear: Warden of Time ⏳ Out Now! (also peep that key art by ARQ ➡️ VEXPO ‘26 👀)! If you're interested in joining, hit up our Discord and introduce yourself as an animator willing to help out with clean up and colouring! For 2) - Due to the 'pay-per-artist' business model of music distributors, the distribution fees for a 'various artists' album like this is likely to set me back a couple hundred dollars with Tunecore... which feels insane, but is the truth of the industry. All the costs of this project are covered by myself, so if you would like to help ease the financial burden of releasing a cool community project like this then consider dropping some tips/donations/subscriptions to my ko-fi, Patreon or YouTube channel membership. After Under the Stars, The World Outside and Music Box of Fate charity song, doing these kinds of community projects mean so much to me. And for this one, I'm so proud to be able to shine a light on the amazing songwriting in my community, and the incredible art and animation talent in the Hololive community!

I just hit 100k subscribers on YouTube and I'm stoked. Which is why I've decided to give this whole content creation thing a real shot. Starting today, I am going to stream consistently on Twitch and regularly upload to my channel. A little back story on how I got here. Before I created content I suffered from clinical depression after having my thyroid removed due to cancer. I would escape by watching streams and gaming videos to relax. One day I decided to just give it a shot. So I hooked up my computer and talked into a very cheap mic and started streaming. It went terribly, but honestly... I was thrilled. Then I took some of that footage and edited it down like I did with skate videos to some random song that reminded me of a model runway. Took forever to get done on my free time. I got one encouraging comment... And I was absolutely thrilled. These days I get comments from people who tell me what they're struggling through and how my videos helped them forget about it for an hour. And every time that happens, I'm reminded of why I do this. To pay back for all the times I was entertained when I was having a hard time. It seems so dumb, but man... I can't tell you what a stupid little video or silly stream can do for someone having a really hard time. I'm not sure if this is going to work... But I'm going to give it a try. Even if I fail, I'm not going to stop creating. I got exciting plans for the future but this is the first step. Where it takes me... I'm not sure. I hope you all come along. Regardless. Thanks to all of you for supporting me and helping me out. I never thought I'd hit 100k or have any type of following. Not in a million years. I am grateful and appreciative. Here's to what comes next I guess. Tea is life. ☕️

my sweetest lee know 🥹🫳 🐰: initially, it started from the pure joy of the craft. i can only stick with something if it's fun, so for me, enjoying it is the most important part. during our debut days, i always felt rushed and unprepared, like no matter how much i practiced, it wasn't enough. i constantly felt overwhelmed with anxiety. 🐰: i thought i'd get shy in front of a big crowd, but surprisingly, the bigger the crowd, the more confident i felt. 🐰: this is our biggest concert since debut, and i'm so happy for the opportunity to see all the stay around the world. every country has its own vibe and energy, and that uniqueness is what makes it all so exciting. 🐰: sometimes i wonder, what is it that makes people like us so much? it still feels surreal. honestly, being famous is just a label. when i walk around in korea, no one recognizes me. so i don't really feel the fame. i still feel like the same old me. 🐰: i don't think people are moved just by the sound of my voice, but rather by the message of the song i'm singing. so i always try to voice the meaning of the song and hope the message really connects with the fans. is that too "T" (mbti) of an answer? 🐰: i really admire my members, no matter how busy we are, they're still writing songs and creating. so much respect for them. we've built up so much trust over the years that our hearts connect, we can understand each other without saying a word. 🐰: whenever things get tough, i just remind myself why i started all this and what has kept me going. if future k-pop artists ever say, "i wanted to become an idol because of stray kids," i think that would mean the world to me. just like how i became one after looking up to the idols i admired.
