This week was Trans Day of Remembrance, and politicians like Justin Trudeau rushed to commemorate the "lives lost" to transphobia. Except there hasn't been any. In fact, there are more trans-identified males in prison for raping children in Canada then there have been "lives lost" to transphobia in Canada since 2008. Same goes for a lot of other places too! /natasha

The most important thing is that even in the before, I still felt like a gorgeous woman. The weightloss journey hasn’t been easy and there have been days when it felt like I could just give up but I remind myself why I started and why I’m doing it and then I keep going. I was feeling like there isn’t much visual difference compared to everyone else I’ve been seeing including people who lost even less than 25kg but then I saw that old video of me and I had to just compare. Our journeys and bodies are different and I do need to give myself grace. I can’t wait to hit my goal weight and body❤️
