DAOs haven't yet reached their full potential on Solana. There's so much friction from every angle, that each bit we can remove makes adoption more of a reality. It's not enough to preach the benefits of DAOs to users, instead, we must meet them where they're at.

This thinking birthed ALIGN — a hybrid between traditional DAO tools like realms and a multisig like Squads. At its core, it works by polling community sentiment to determine what is executed by a trusted council. But there's much more to it than that.

ALIGN has 5 key features: 1. Treasury Management: Send & tracks funds with a familiar wallet-like interface. Anyone can deposit into it or propose a withdrawal.

2. Bounties: A fully integrated bounty system where council members can post tasks for the community. Perhaps there's a need for a Twitter intern, development task, or banners for a marketing campaign. From this tab, these items can be solicited and executed transparently.

3. Proposals: The community and council can propose initiatives to the DAO to be put up to a sentiment check via emojis. Both these proposals and the voting can be gated based on Token or NFT holdings to restrict access to the DAO. Community sentiment can be gathered by token-weighted reactions, allowing transparency for the council's final voting.

4. DeFi: Organizations can participate in DeFi even while their funds are securely held within the community multi-sig. The platform currently has @bonk_inu rewards and @uselulo integrated with plans to introduce more options over the coming months.

5. Hackathons: ALIGN V2 soft-launched with the $350k Bonkathon, heralded by hackathon veterans as “the best I’ve ever used” in regards to its feature set as a judging platform.
