Highly recommend the full episode from @bgurley and @altcap. Their new BG2 podcast is really, really good.

@altcap And the best part is that you’ll have an entire *team* of them.

What if we put everything on a vector db and have a very good rag agent to retrieve important stuff for the conversation as an action of the main assistant. This doesn't look impossible and if it's not perfect it will help a lot anyways

This is what people are doing now but it just doesn’t work well enough to be true memory. It’s a nice intermediate technique though.

We are building exactly this.

@bgurley Can we go on the show once we launch the product? We are building this now! We're the founders of socra AI and we have an elegant solution.

I also think that the key is an AI that really remember your most important things, and that can also perform actions based on these informations according to our needs.

Couldn’t agree more. If knowing you doesn’t lead to helping you with real action then opportunity missed.

What if we could have a tiny model, sit by the bigger one and which retrains on the fly after each conversation, and play the role of a super intelligent vector db, basically play the role of the memory part feeding to the bigger model. It would be RAG 2.0.
